This person may be a good surgeon, but he is a horrible doctor. I have 2 end stage osteoarthritic shoulders and I'm 50. I went to this doc to get help with rehab and to buy some time before I have these joints replaced.
I spoke to Dr Snead's physicians attendant and told him my situation. I told him I have been successfully rehabbing my end stage knees. He said "sounds like you're ready to get those shoulders replaced". I answered "absolutely not". I explained my understanding of replacements is that they're good for ~20 years. He corrected me and said ~15. I asked what he was going to tell me when I'm 65 and can't have another joint put in place? I never did get an answer to that question.
Next Dr Snead came in after speaking to the assistant. He told me it sounded like I was trying to overdo it. He gave me a PT consult, though he flatly told me he didn't believe in rehabbing end stage shoulders.
He never even asked me how I felt, and told me my only option was surgery.
6 weeks later after working diligently at rehabbing my shoulders, 90% of the pain is gone. Range of motion has increased and continues to increase.
Keep your surgery Dr Snead, and your arrogance, you'll never lay a knife on me.
Docs like this need to stop seeing project, and start seeing a patient.
Shame on you for trying to sell me 2 Operations that you KNOW will have consequences 15 years down the road. I intend on fishing in my 60's, not suffering from failed replacements.

What kind of doctor say" all patients think they are special and their case is different, but they are all the same" Dr Dale Snead. This was after waiting over 2 hours to even be seen. Unbelievable! Worst bedside manner ever!!

Dr. Misamore is amazing! He's kind, professional, experienced, an exceptional surgeon. He listens, he's very thorough, he cares about his patients! He gave me a new shoulder! It works great! The staff is wonderful! They treat you very well & make you feel like you matter! I highly recommend Methodist Sports Medicine!
