I went to Metro Nails with my friend as a late birthday present to her. I chose a regular essie nail color and they told me that there was a $3 up charge for using that color. I’ve never heard of a nail salon charging extra for certain colors when it’s just standard nail polish not gel or acrylic. I went for it because it was a treat. Once they finished my pedicure and they were half way through my manicure the nail tech asked me who’s paying. I said I am, and both nail techs stopped both of our hands and told me that I had to pay right now. I was shocked because my hands were still drying from the base coat and the people before us paid once their nails were finished. I bumped my nails trying to get my card out and she got annoyed that I smudged them. I asked about the student discount multiple times (for $2 off) and she ignored me and charged me full price. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. My other friends who have gone have always paid once their nails are dried. The one plus side of this salon is that they seem to take covid seriously.

I thought I’d give this place a try after seeing all the positive reviews, unfortunately the customer service there truly sucks.. the lady who did my nail didn’t take the time at all was rushing and didn’t communicate professionally. She was rude and upset because she didn’t do her job correctly. I had to go in to get my nails done again next the next day because my nails looked outgrown and not even polished correctly, never going back that’s for sure..

Was visiting the area for a weekly and wanted a pedicure this place had good reviews so i made an appointment. They were very nice, they were a bit behind and also didnt ask which kind of pedicure I wanted but it was good

I’ve been going to the same place for the longest time to get my nails done. Finally i was fed up with her and tries Metro Nails. They have a very wide selection of colors and also technicians. Only thing was that she kept burning me with the drill and then she cut my finger. But that was that nail technician. There are so many more. I will try metro again with a different nail technician but i would recommend them to someone else.

I've probably had fifty shellac manicures over the years, in about five different cities. The two I've had (so far) from Metro have not only lasted the longest, but have also looked the best for as long as three weeks after receiving them! I'm really impressed with this place.
I got a very short, round tip French gel manicure the first time I went and not only was my nail tech absolutely lovely to me but the final result was so precise I couldn't believe it. Nearly a month later, no cracks, chips, bubbles.
They are also very well staffed and there never seems to be any wait for walk-in appointments. Not much in the way of decor, no extra add-ons like a little shoulder massage (the way some places do it), but all around a great experience.
I was driving to work one day and actually caught myself saying "man, my nails look so good!" Out loud. To myself.response / report this review -

I've been here four times now, and must say this is one of the best (if not the best) place for nail treatment. The prices are great for the service they provide. Even at their peak hours, and the salon is packed, service is never rushed, and procedures never go unnoticed. You can tell they take pride in their work with the attention to detail. No where else competes to what this spot offers

Despite the nail tech misunderstanding my request of an overlay instead of a fill in. She clipped my real nail instead of just placing acrylic over it. Nonetheless great experience she and all of the techs were very nice and pleasent. Recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quick Polish change or fill in, great service. My nails look and feel great. Clean enviroment.

The WORST pedicure I've ever had. When I left, I still had some dead skin on my feet but worst of all, my legs were itching. I believe the tub was not cleaned well. BEWARE@@!!!! SKIP THIS PLACE.
