Nice atmosphere along with great staff. However, food was a little high for okay quality. Also, the establishment cleanliness wasn't up to my expectations . They do have a great dessert and a wide menu selection.

Merks Place is a hometown restaurant that serves decent food and has pretty good service if they aren't too busy. They are not open on Sunday but stay open late on Saturday night. Their prices are a bit high for what they serve and where they are located. However, most of their patrons don't mind that. They have a very devoted customer base.

Simple breakfast food and sandwiches at a great price. A laid-back country atmosphere. There's nothing fancy about this place but I admit I look forward to my lunch is at this restaurant, almost like stepping back in time.

Decent menu selections for the whole family/group. Average menu prices, service and dining room atmosphere have room for improvement and the restaurant is not easily found by travelers newcomers. Another restaurant I've added to my lunch list!
