Wonderful replacement to the restaurant that was in this location before. Menu concept is very different and enjoyable without much increase in the price from the previous restaurant. I compare the previous with this one only to give a reference point for travelers that have stopped here before. The two restaurants are completely different concepts. The food in this new restaurant is made from scratch and with local fresh ingriedients. Pastries are made seasonally so check their Instagram feed for the specials they are making that day. Lots of great food options. You can find something to eat from $3 to $15. Dinner items are on the higher end of price and pastries start around $3. The people are accommodating and kind. The rental bikes are new and the place has been completely renovated. So excited for them to be successful! Hopefully the items cyclists can take with them continue. I love that concept!

Wonderful food. Truly a little gem along the Katy Trail. Meriwether Cafe should expand to other communities along the trail. What great place to re-fuel and relax along the trail.

A wonderful café with tasty food served throughout the day and tons of fun bike rental options, including tandem bikes and kid-friendly rentals. It's a great place to come with friends, family, or even alone to read a book and go for a ride. The pancakes are the best you'll find anywhere!

Was walking on the Katy trail with my pup when we wandered by this cafe, saw the crowd and thought I'd stop for lunch. Very nice people, good food! Had the burger and fries outside on the patio, they have a water bowl there for pups and even fed my dog a homemade treat that they give dogs for free. Lovely place! We will be back.

Love what they have done to the decor. Outstanding, fresh food. The egg salad sandwich was delicious and had just the right balance of ingredients. The Naturalist Bowl had crisp watermelon and local greens. The coffee cake was very good too.

The taste is outstanding! The folks are nice! The prices are great! This is quite possibly the best establishment in all of mid-Missouri. The only thing they're missing is an espresso machine.

Fried tomatoes was not cooked properly. Burnt on the outside and Squishy in the middle. Their beef steak sandwich had stale bread and flavorless meat. The only thing that tasted slightly good was the meat out of the hamburger. Don't worry they'll sell you some overpriced beer though.

Wow. Customer service that is phenomenal. Food that is top notch. A true passion for what they are doing. And nice people to boot. If we didn't live 300 miles away, we would be regulars.
