I love taking my dog for a walk on the trail here. Its long enough to tire her out every time but also peaceful and everyone on it is polite. The parking area I use just off of it has tables if you need to rest as well as benches throughout the trail to let you stop and sit to enjoy the scenery.

Great little forest preservea nice place to unwind and feel a sense of nature. Not a crowded environmenta good place to unwind in a natural setting away from the madding crowd!

I always thought this place to be boring. I'd only been on the paved trail near Bode Lake. But today I did one of the short unpaved(and unmarked trails). It was beautiful! I will definitely be back to try more of the unpaved trails. This paved trail is great for running or biking.
