I have been to mega sports many times as I live in the neighborhood and have had nothing but great experiences there. The range is clean the guys behind the counter are always helpful and knowledgeable about the different firearms for rent,my wife rents a gun everytime she goes to the range the guys are always there to answer any questions she may have. I have purchased a firearm from there and they even price matched because another shop had the gun listed for a cheaper price. I definitely do not have anything negative to say about mega sports. The guys behind the counters are professionals they take their jobs seriously.

I have a love/hate relationship with Megasports. First, I'll start with the hate. I hate that you have to use their targets on the range, I hate that you have to purchase their ammo if you rent their guns (brought an unopened box/same brand they had), and I hate that I had to show the range personnel that I knew how to properly hold a pistol. The guy was younger than me, and I'm a 12 yr. military vet with law enforcement experience. There's a 50/50 chance that you'll have a pleasant shopping experience or a bad one. It depends on the day, time, and personnel in the store. On a good day, you'll have a good time with someone who is knowledgeable, willing to help, and has overall great customer service skills with a personality to match. On a bad day, it'll be some jerk or jerks that will ignore you, has an ego that surprisingly fits in the store, or they'll BS you - especially if you ask about Glock's Blue Label program. If you're lucky to stop in on a good day, then you'll have a good time with plenty to choose from. Some of the sales can't be beat. However, if you stop by on a bad day, you'll remember it, and more than likely stop going or stay away for a while.

Great selection, but the owner refused to accept orders on two high end guns he did not have in stock (Henry 44-40 and Colt Competition 1911). I've never had other shops refuse to take an order on something they didn't have in stock. I was willing to wait, but they said no. Prices are reasonable, but lower at another large shop I frequent. Ok gun store, but I won't be going back.

I was in on "Black Friday" weekend and purchased a firearm from Nick. Nick was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. He was patient when I looked at 5-6 different makes of firearms and demonstrated a great understanding of each and every manufacturer. I have seen a lot of negative reviews here and that was NOT my experience.

I’ve been here twice. Once on the range and once to shop around. Both times my friends and I were treated with respect and staff was friendly. Both times I’ve gone the staff seemed eager to share share any information pertaining to firearms or other products I was interested. Prices were fair/reasonable. Their inventory is huge! in both firearms and accessories.

Yeah the range is nice, but at the cost of the employees. They are in a rush to get you out, and don't care what you want. I've been in the army 5 years and some guy trying to school me in how I "don't know" what I want? Get out of here.

The guys that work here (Except one that was a Marine) don't know what they're talking about. They also look down at you thinking they are better. Will NEVER EVER go here again. I regret buying ammo from them.

Love the gun range. Each time I've come to shoot I never have had to wait.
Looked at a particular gun I'm interested in and the gentleman that showed it to me was very nice and knowledgeable about the item.

I come here several times a month to use the range or browse the LARGE selection of guns, etc. Staff has always been friendly and helpful to me. Prices are competitive with other shops. Range is clean, modern and reasonable in price. Decent selection of rentals. Best to come "off peak hours" or there may be a wait. They will not allow you to bring a "non-FOID" guest to range which I think is unfortunate but some other ranges are like that. Overall, a good place to go.

Best selection of firearms around. The only problem is getting someone to help you look at them. Some of the staff can be really rude. I hope they change their attitude. The customer service experience supercedes their firearm selection.

Great selection of stuff here. I'll always come here to look at something or see if I like it but I'll probably go somewhere else to buy it. They're a little more on the pricey side and some of the staff is pretty dismissive. Ammo pricing is pretty competitive but they range is pretty expensive for hand guns only. Do really enjoy the large selection though. Store is always clean and well stocked they do have a nice area to clean up after going to the range. They don't have a smith or anything in house.

Very good selection of guns and glass. Very clean and well organized. Ammo prices are a little high. Prices on other stuff is good. Service has always been top notch at the rifle counter which is where I shop.
