There are not enough words to describe how amazing this family business is. The venue is breathtaking. Natalie made sure that everything ran smoothly and I never had to worry a bit the weekend of our wedding. Amanda made the most beautiful bouquets/flowers and was so accommodating with the lodge. My husband and I planned and payed for this wedding ourselves with many bumps along the way. Natalie made sure we were always taken care of and we had an amazing experience. This is an beautiful venue run by a sweet, passionate family that obviously loves their work. Our families raved about the entire day and everyone had the best time. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing and it will be one of our fondest memories as a couple.

Our daughters wedding was at McGuires Milrace Farm on 9/9/17. There are not enough stars for me to adequately praise this venue! I feel so blessed to have found this beautiful farm. The bride and groom are currently in Boston and we live in Raleigh so the details were trusted to Natalie and Amanda. Natalie kindly, calmly and efficiently guided us through the many decisions and never missed a beat. She genuinely cares about the bride and her special day. Amanda, her sister, amazed us with the flowers. She is truly talented. They were just beautiful. The best part of this venue is the loving and genuine family who runs it.I will always think of them as I reflect on the special day. We were thrilled with the suggested photographer ( Nathan Baerreis) and the suggested cake baker ( BJ Thompson). They both exceeded our expectations. We all stayed in the millhouse lodge. We found it so very comfortable and convenient. LOVED THIS PLACE!

The rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding was held at the Millrace Farm. The evening was planned and carried out by Natalie and the staff of Millrace to perfection. The facilities are above anything you will find in our area including the grounds. Millrace is something our community take pride in. Once you contact them for an event, just sit back and they do everything. We could not have been more pleased..

McGuire's is one of the best wedding venues I've ever experienced. Lovely staff, attentive but not overbearing, beautifully appointed venue ("barn" is too crusty a word) set in a stunning valley with great mountain views!

Natalie and the staff at McGuire's made our wedding and reception a truly amazing event. There were many reasons we chose this venue: the beautiful property, the amazing ceremony site (between the riverside birches!), the mountain views, the history of the farm, and the GORGEOUS reception "barn". However, the greatest asset McGuire's has is the people. From the owners to the waitstaff, everyone treated our guests as family. They worked closely with us throughout the entire planning process and made putting together the event as easy as possible. All of our guests had an amazing time and were thoroughly impressed with the venue's beauty and the staff's friendliness and professionalism!

I definitely had the wedding of my dreams at McGuire's Millrace Farm. We wanted an outdoor ceremony, but by Friday we had to plan for an indoor ceremony due to the weather (it rained the entire week leading up to the wedding!) I certainly would have been just as happy with an indoor ceremony. The barn is BEAUTIFUL! Fortunately, the skies opened up and the sun came out for the first time and we were able to have the ceremony outside. Mrs. Linda told us that they only had 4 weddings rained out since 2009. Natalie was AMAZING during the whole planning process. We do not live anywhere near Murphy, NC and did not see the venue for the first time until the Wednesday before our wedding. I was relying heavily on my mom (who doesn't live in Murphy either) and Natalie. Natalie was a God-send to our family and I will forever cherish her and the entire McGuire family. Our wedding was spectacular! I highly recommend McGuire's Millrace farm for any weddings, parties, etc. Even if you don't live in the area, trust Natalie and the rest of the McGuire family.
