Good country-cooking style food.good price for the buffet. (if you eat intake out buffet can be pricey) Buffet is a "must try". They always have a good selection of vegetables & meats. Dessert is included too.try the peach cobbler. Ordering off the menu can be a little high priced. Staff is always friendly.service is always good. Good place for a family gatheringthere will be something for everyone.

Awful. Fried foods hard. No flavor. Seasoning wasn't there. Didn't show me anything. Won't return.

Was extremely disappointed. Food was just warm. Some appeared to have been out too long and was dry and hard. Took them more than 30 minutes to bring out more food. By then we were through eating the warm food and ready to leave. Bad experience.

On Sunday, Sept 24th, after our morning church service McCalls catered a meal for approximately 50 of my family and friends. The meal was incredible and only exceeded by the service that was provided. The meal was hot, the food tasted great and there was plenty on the buffet. There were three individuals from McCalls who served us and in a day and age where customer service is often lacking, there was nothing lacking about what we received. Every conversation made me feel heard and their attitude said our only purpose is to serve. My family and friends had nothing but great things to say about the meal I provided and McCalls you deserve the applause. Thanks for overwhelming me with the quality of your food and excellence of your service.

Expensive, bbq was tough. Fried chicken was very tasty. Buffet bar is hard to get around due to a wall on one side and a partition om the other

We enjoy the pleasant, clean and warm atmosphere.
The people are always the same with a warm open greeting with a smile.
The waitress really do deserve tips cause they make sure you are well taken care of.

I was here with a group of 7 people at lunch time on a Sunday. I expected a long wait. Surprisingly we were seated with in 10 minutes. We all had buffet. I am a super buffet critic. I do not like buffets but I was with a group so buffet it was. I was again surprised at the number of staff working the buffet and how fresh and clean everything was. All the food I had was great. I had of course BBQ, fried chicken, collards, butter beans, a roll and a few hush puppies. Everything was perfect. When it came time for dessert again I was very pleased to find that area clean and fresh. Dessert was Chew Bread which I loved. Our waitress kept us supplied with drinks and whatever else we needed. I highly recommend this to everyone.

My husband and I ate at McCall's last night (Saturday). We arrived at 6:45 PM, and, although the place was busy, we were greeted instantly as we walked through the door. We were seated within 2 minutes at a table that was perfectly clean. We decided on the buffet after we perused the selection to check for cleanliness, organization, and selection. Their barbecue chicken is nicely spiced, and the Calabash-style shrimp is lightly breaded and crispy. I have an objection to the harsh flourescent lighting in the restaurant; maybe I have sensitive eyes, but I really wish that I'd worn a brimmed hat so I wouldn't have had to divert my eyes downward most of the time. This lighting issue is the reason for my eating quickly so I could get out of there as soon as possible. I really enjoyed the chicken and shrimp, though, so I will just use their call ahead drive through service next time and eat in the car. Every person at McCall's is polite and courteous. And the grey cat in the parking lot has a good thing going, too!

The BBQ is the best in town and is all you can eat. Saturday is the day to go here for the brisket, fried okra, and Mac & cheese. Only thing is their hush puppies are always rubbery and not crispy as they should be. They get steamed where they stay warm which is probably why. The pecan cake dessert is amazing an a must try.

Service was good, friendly staff. Food was ok, collards were way overcooked for this southern girl. Clams cooked perfect. I will go back.
