Lovely nature park with trails and areas to play in the river. They have restrooms and water fountains, including a low drinking fountain for dogs.

We enjoyed the Easter Scavenger hunt and then a picnic lunch. Wonderful volunteers. We will doing many more of the events this summer. Beautiful park!

Another hidden gem of Hendricks County! Beautiful (and free) nature park that offers almost endless hiking and bicycling trails, a windy river, new beach area, nature center, butterfly and hummingbird garden, covered picnic areas, turtle pond and a unique look back at a hundred year old private swimming pool.

My grandson Alex went here today on a field trip from Maple Elementary. He like the tree tapping. He put the bucket on the tap. ,you need a maple tree ,a bucket, a rubber Hammer, and a tap.

My dog loves going to McCloud. He has to stay on his leash, but man does he love it. There's a creek and a couple miles of trails. Oh, and the bathrooms are always clean, and they're not like weird outdoor toilets, they're attached to the Nature Center where you get your trail maps. This year I'm really hoping to attend some summer astronomy nights.

Beautiful park just a half hour west of Indianapolis. This park is a hidden gem, not that many people know about it. That provides lots of opportunities to see wildlife such as bald eagles, soft-shell turtles, black rat snakes, etc. Big Walnut Creek is also a good fishing spot. Don't forget to check out the nature center, where they host educational programs almost every Saturday!
