  Great place to stay in Mayberry. We walked most places from the house. Host contacted us via email a couple of times to make sure we were doing fine, other than that we came and went as we pleased. The house is well furnished, you could cook up your own dinner, watch some TV, play a Mayberry board game, sit out in the yard, etc. Great for a couple or a small family. They have thought of every little detail that just kept us saying, "oh that's so nice" our entire stay. I don't want anyone else to stay here so it is always available for us to return to. But something tells me it is becoming a popular place.

  Four of us stayed for one night. The house was clean and decorated to look like the 1950's. Beds were alright. When we were there the router had died so minus the satellite TV it almost felt like time travel! Location was great. It's just a couple blocks from Main St. and in the other direction is Andy Griffith's childhood home.
