We stayed at the Lucerne Chalet for a three night stay and it was an amazing experience. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was cozy and cute and a lot more than we expected. We were able to walk to the closest grocery store with no problem and we used Uber during our stay and the cars were able to find us with no problem. I wish we could have stayed longer! Hopefully we get to visit again soon.
Very clean and quiet neighborhood. A great location just mins from downtown.
Beautiful and authentic Asheville. Most of their chalets are on a mountain right next to downtown Asheville!
Great spot, nice and private. Water pressure was a little low.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Asheville Swiss Chalets for our honeymoon. We came with our 8 year old and 4 month old labs and we all loved it! We used the dog trail behind our cabin regularly and loved how pet friendly the cabin is. The cookies Judy bakes for the guests are delicious and such a sweet gesture to make people feel at home. We have already recommended these cabins to friends and when we come back, this is where we'll stay!
We enjoyed a weekend getaway to Asheville over Labor Day weekend. Asheville Swiss Chalets were the perfect fit for us, especially since it was pet friendly! We had clean, well appointed, cozy accommodations and were just minutes from downtown Asheville. The owners really thought about everything and made you feel at home from the moment you walked in - there were even cookies waiting on the table! We would absolutely stay here again when returning to Asheville!
This place is amazing! If you are traveling with pets in particular, you cannot neat the accommodations here. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. They gave us a helpful book with all sorts of helpful tourist brochures, which saved us from looking things up. The cookies set the bar pretty high for baked goods! We even got a jar filled with dog treats for the pack. The staff was very helpful and friendly; they really went out of their way to help us. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation if you are in the area. You fell like your a hundred miles from civilization, and yet your right in the middle of everything in Asheville. You will not be disappointed.
We stayed at the "Beau Below" chalet. When we arrived there was a welcome note along with some delicious cookies. They also had a book with all of the local information we needed to make dinner reservations.
With regard to the chalet unit; it was spotless. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and such. They had coffee, paper towels and sundries. You really don't need to bring anything but your clothes.
Lastly, we rented a pet friendly unit because we have 2 dogs. The unit we rented had a sweet picket fence which enclosed the entire premise. We felt that the dogs were very safe when we had to take them out. They also provided doggy bags and a scooper.
In summary, we felt that they took all of the stress out of not staying at a chain hotel. The chalet was a wonderful respite to unwind and decompress.
