Workers are very disrespectful and rude. The only reason I bought a gun here was because I had a down payment on another I wasn't able to afford in the long run. I spent $100 more dollars on a gun than it's normally priced anywhere else. When I noticed the gun was extremely overpriced I brought this up to the management and they acted entirely oblivious even after I showed them on the gun manufacturers website. And they just continued to get even more annoying through the purchasing process. Overall the this experience was absolutely terrible if you're going to buy a gun go somewhere else trust me. As for me I'll never go back to that garbage store again!

Awful. Pathetic. Absolutely terrible. I live very to close to this store so I've been there many times. It's convenient, and nothing else. It starts at the top. The owner is clueless as far as hiring people. Almost everyone that works there is ignorant to the department they are in. They don't want to sell you anything. They will not greet you as you enter the store. Apparently none of the employees care about their job at all. I've had plenty of annoying trips to Maurer's. The most recent one was it for me. I'm never going back. I'll go out of my way to get what I need. I stood there looking at a handgun I knew I wanted to purchase. The guy behind the counter sat down at the register about 15 yards away from me and never acknowledged me. Considering I was the only customer there at the time, I did not feel obligated to ask him to come to me. I stood there for 25 minutes waiting for acknowledgement, didn't get it. I left, drove 3 miles down the road to gun town mountainsame handgun was there for $120 cheaper than what it was at Maurer's. I would've eventually compared prices and purchased it there anyway, but the fact that I couldn't even get a chance to look at it while at Maurer's is still burning me up. They are a disgrace. DO NOT GO TO MAURER'S TRADING POST.

Awful. Don't shop here.

I try to buy local but sometimes local stores are local for a reason: the stock is overpriced, the customer service is comically bad, and the management is downright disdainful of it's customers. Great value tends to expand, and Maurer's can't match the value of bigger chains.

If you can purchase your product anywhere else, I would recommend it, even if the item is small and inexpensive. Call it headache management. And if you are making a large purchase in which you need any help deciding what product is best for you, it is worth the trip to a more established store. This place is clearly not interested in hiring employees with the kind of expertise to help customers.
