Me and my cousins went to the Mast Store Annex to get candy. They have candy and drinks. They have chocolate, chewing gum, Skittles, and some sour candy. They have Sprite, Coke, water, Powerade, and Gatorade. The candy was 7.99 a pound. The service was great and the staff were very nice and the candy was good. They also sell shirts and toys. I will probably go to the Mast Store Annex again when I go back to North Carolina.

This is a fun place to visit! It is in a quiet community and isn't too far off main roads. Like any other Mast General Store, you can purchase clotting and outdoor goods. There is an excellent candy section where you can fill up buckets with whatever you like and pay by weight.

I visit Boone, NC almost once a year or more.. depending Anyways I love the different "Mast General Stores". I usually try to go to at least one of them. Great local store. Different variety of candies is the best part! Also they have great gifts and old fashioned games and toys from the "Old Days". I love to go in and see what they have every-time I get a kick out of all the different toys I used to remember as a kid!

Beautiful addition to the original Mast General Store. This is also an historic building, old fashion candy in barrels, clothes and hiking equipment for purchase. Old fashioned ice cream hut behind the building next to a beautiful, peaceful river where you can enjoy your ice cream at picnic tables.

Great addition to the Mast family, kids can get ice cream out back and splash around in the lazy creek. That is, after they've loaded up with sacks of goodies at the Candy Barrel in the main building! A must-stop-at in connection with the Mast General Store that's a touch further down the road.
