Nice atmosphere. The food was okay but not great. Service of course was excellent. The beer has a good house selection but just wasn't in our tastes. We would be willing to try it again but it's not likely our first choice of eating establishments.

They have the best natural blonde beer. Not too impressed with the food. But for an after dinner drink or beer, it's the place to go. Mostly adult, loud atmosphere, so if super moms want to bring their kids, you really don't have to hear people's annoying children. Especially if you sit at the tall bar tables.

Food was below average, definitely not worth the money. The girl seating us appeared grumpy, only our server was nice. I'm not impressed and won't be coming there again unfortunately.

Beer is ok, beer is on the lighter side of taste from anything you may have drank before. Whatever you do don't order the prime rib..ordered it for my birthday it was ok not much flavor..2nd time to give the benefit of the doubt, god awful..if you like not having any juice from the prime rib flow on to your plate because its cooked properly then its for you. It was extremely dry, dry enough to break their steak knife in HALF..im not joking.. the manager was polite enough to take 15 dollars off my 32 dollar steakhot garbage.

waiter took his time, when the meals arrived did not check to see if my wifes tuna and my stake where cooked properly. The tune thank god was done properly and my wife liked it, my fillet on the otjer hand was undercook, I still finished it since it was a good cut and did not moved.
Flavor wise both meals where good and the bear selection was tasty.

Calamari is so good and the shrimp and grits were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and so were the hostesses. Very accommodating even to our busy and talkative toddler.

Best steak place in Fayetteville. Non-steak items are hit or miss but the steaks are always cooked perfectly and taste great. The flight of beer is also a good addition to any meal.

The mediocrity of their food isn't even outshined by the taste of their beer. They don't brew it with real grain; they use malt-extract. One cannot have a "mash" without brewing with grain, so their namesake is a lie. The only thing mashed at the Mash House is the potatoes.

This could all be *somewhat* mitigated if the atmosphere and service were pleasurable, but I'm afraid they're not. Even the prices are ridiculous. If you're going to spend mash house prices, go over to Morgan's Chop House and have yourself a gourmet meal with excellent service in a relaxing atmosphere..

I enjoy decor and space. The in house brewed root beer was delicious. I ate the veggie burger and fried green tomatoes loaded. The meal was amazing. I would surely eat there again.

We've eaten here a few times when visiting family in town. Each visit, we've enjoyed. Any of the food items we've ordered have been tasty, staff were attentive, service was good. They do have a variety of items on menu. 4 star only because some challenges with items for my needs (eg lighter healthy appetizer options)

Our waitress on Tuesday night was Awesome! I am glad I finally came to the Mash House! I had read previous reviews about poor service and bad food but I can say this place deserve 5 stars for the exceptional service, great appetizers, food and drinks! Great job!

I visited this establishment on 3/13/17 with a friend and the service was horrible. I will not return. The silverware wrapped in the black napkins was dirty. I mean large visible chunks of food on both sets that we pointed out to management, and our wings came out burnt black. The fried green tomatoes were dark in color like the grease they were fried in had not been changed in weeks. I frequented this establishment often and had notices the service and food standards going down tremendously, but chose to continue spending my money in this place because to the ambiance and (2) great servers. It was becoming hit and miss on the food but none the less I continued to frequent.
During my visit on 3/13/17 we brought the over cooked chicken and dirty utensils to the attention of management. The male manager proceeded to tell us that that is well done chicken and the reason it looked burnt was because of the sauce on the chicken. We often ask for well done chicken on our visits, and this was the first time they came out looking burned black! He condescendingly told us he would re-make the chicken walked away, did not address nor offer fresh silverware or his apologies. My opinion, a manager who has gotten to comfortable with his job, and does not believe the customers keep him employed. We politely got up paid for our drinks and left. $35 to $75 three to sometimes four times a week from one customer who would also bring other friends that we invite to come along may not bother him (the manager) to lose, but if I were the owner of this establishment I would have a problem with that. So Long MESS HOUSE!
