Good food. We loved the Relish tray (especially the horseradish cheese). And our meals were excellent -panfried Basa and Rouledan. Cozy atmosphere and good service too

Good food. Slightly limited menu. Usually friendly staff. Seemed annoyed by us having a tired toddler rest on an unused booth seat for a few minutes on one visit while we waited for our table with a round of drinks at the bar. The place was largely empty, so it shouldn't have been a big deal. But that was only one minor issue. Overall very good.

Real nice play. Nicely decorated. Service was friendly and helpful. Prices were on the higher side, but still reasonable. Place was very busy, so make sure to make reservations at least a day in advance.

Entrees were prepared correctly but cut corners that ruined finish. Fake drawn butter for lobster and coagulated hollandaise with imitation crab. Also hidden up charges for asparagus and Thai vegetables which were frozen.

Nice rooms and bar, but formica tables and paper place mats downgrade the value of room quality; and the service is abrupt (always has been).
Food is average at best. If basic cooking is what you are after this will work for you, but they are out of date with over breading all there deep fried meals. Basically ruins the perch and shrimp selections. Meals are not diabetic friendly. Only starch is available for a side without a $2 up charge. Like many rural restaurants it continues to make a go of it with no adjustments to cooking or dining changes over the last 30 years.
Summary: there are much better options in the immediate area.
