The place is great for one martini during the weekdays weekend is way to small no more than 20 people fit there. Some of the martinis could be way off. I go there once a year

When busy, Marty's is a small bar is full of bodies, and can be hard to navigate. Many regulars (especially gay mascs) love this local haunt for upscale martinis at neighborhood bar prices- and what Marty's does, it delivers. Cute courtyard during the decent-weather months. Plan ahead if you're coming with more than one or two people, or prepare to stake your ground and try your luck vying for space- some patrons are more friendly than others about inviting in newcomers.

Cutest bar ever, and the service is SUPERB! The waiters and bartenders are professional and hospitable. It's a gay bar with great hospitality and quality drinks. A model for others to aspire to.

I love Marty's! The theatre company I work with (Broken Nose Theatre) holds a fundraiser here every year. It's a really fun and unique fundraiser that people actually enjoy going to. The drinks are all amazing, I've never heard anyone complain that they don't like their drink. The bar tenders are all really cool people and very knowledgeable of the menu. My all time favorite drink is their chocolate mint one, it tastes like a Girl Scout Thin Mint! I regret not getting it last time I was there, but the Lemon Drop I got this time was still really good.

I came here for a fundraiser on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed! The bar was well staffed and everyone was super nice, but I didn't expect such a crowd for day drinking!
I got a chocolate Martini and a French one. I'd recommend the French 75 inspired drink, as everyone I shared this with loved it. I'd also recommend getting a large one, as drinking the small ones too fast can be dangerous!

Marty’s is small but it’s great. They have a great and diverse menu of martinis and a full bar in case martinis aren’t your bag.

The bartenders are great, personable, and attentive. The pours are always on point and drinks delicious. I️ think this may be a new favorite spot!

Classic Martini recipes get overly dramatic pours in this elevator-sized intimate bar scene. Bartenders are smooth operators, while mirrors in every corner allow you to admire people from all angles. Just be careful, once you go in, you won't leavelike, you can't leave, cause its tiny.

A friend took me to Marty's when I was visiting Chicago. Marvelous drinks and great service. Their Park Avenue martini is delightful and potent. I'd become a regular if I lived in the city.

The best martinis in Chicago. Each large has 10 shots of alcohol. The dirty Bird is amazing. So is the hazelnut. Be prepared to walk in the neighborhood for dinner.

Nice décor very very small narrow place. Would come back but if small places and large crowds aren't your thing, I would suggest going on a less busy night.

I had one martini here and it knocked me on my butt. So good. So strong. I LOVE the decor - the vintage mirrors are amazing. It's small, cozy, and quaint.
