Very scenic park wit great views of Dead River Basin. Bathrooms and especially the showers are nasty. Great spot to get a wart.

Great customer service, only real complaint is the WiFi like most parks gets very slow as the park fills. Also, the numbering of the pull through sites are on the back of the electrical boxesinstead look down at the road and you will find a great numbering system.

Nice RV park, some nicely wooded spaces. Some of the spaces (#63), are very difficult to back a TT into due to trees close to the front corners of the space and across road. Not sure yet how easily it will be to get out. There is a nice lake on property with a swimming beach. Some people have complained about noisy businesses adjacent to park, I didn't find this to be an issue. Road construction around the park this year was insane making getting to the park just about impossible, it would have been nice of them to send out an email alerting us to it. It added 45 mins to our arrival and getting lost oncehence the 4*, otherwise we loved the park.

Rode 6 miles of there mountain bike trails. If you are looking for a challenge this isn't the place for you. These are kid and beginner friendly trails, really wide and groomed.

Sites are very big and many are shaded. Wifi is nice and decent signal. There's a lifeguard at the beach. Bathroom are too few (one by our site had two stalls and only one shower.) Bathrooms needed to be cleaned much more frequently and deeply than they were. There is some industrial noise in the mornings.

Nice park however the bathrooms are not great. Could use some updating but the real problem is cleaning. State parks with showers tend to be much nicer. Other than the bathroom the park was nice but bathrooms are important!

A great little campground right in Marquette. Nice tent sites right on the river/flowage. Bathrooms were not looking good on our last visit. Mountain bike trails are close by. Be advised that the campground, although secluded, is in the city and city noise at times can be heard.

I would have given it five stars if the rating was based on only the beauty of the campsite. The location is beautiful. Nicely wooded area, great view of the lake and really felt like camping. The playground is great. Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit. They do a very good job of maintaining the trees and making sure they are healthy. Staff was accommodating and very nice over the phone. Campground is patrolled by the police department. Wifi was very good compared to what is usually offered at campgrounds free of charge!
This campground's greatest downfall, however, is that their bath houses are awful in terms of cleanliness. Bathroom doors felt sticky. Heating vents were very rusted and those meant for ventilation were thickly coated in dust and cobwebs. Mildew had formed on the ceiling of the showers. These are Bring Your Own Cleaning Spray (or antibacterial wipes!) kind of bath houses.
If you're sensitive to noises, you should know that there is some sort of construction company on the other side of the chain link fence, so from time to time we heard loud clanging noises during regular business hours or the "beep, beep, beep" of trucks backing up. Sunday evening, we heard some kind of siren (from Marquette maybe?) go off two or three times and we have no idea what it was or where it came from.
Overall, our stay was nice, except the times we had to make use of the bath house.response / report this review -

Picturesque campground with water access to the lake. Only issue I had was the fresh water connection at my site being a little too far from my rig. I was able to rearrange in order to reach, but be sure you have a long hose if you plan to stay here for more than one night!
