Good place for family dining. Consistently good throughout the years.
Good food, beautiful restaurant, and wonderful service. Probably the best Italian restaurant in the UP
Came in town from Chicago on vacation went here to have a steak . It was Amazing. The bread was delicious and the taramasu was to die for. Excellent service. Wish I could rate the place a 10. So since I can't on their star scale I will anyways. 10 stars all the way across the board.
I love when I get a good steak, and the best is with a good plate of spaghetti. Today I was able to achieve both and GREAT service, while attempting a new restaurant while in Marquette. I would highly recommend this restaurant .
Casa Calabria is a lovely and romantic Italian restaurant in Marquette, Michigan. Their signature lasagna is the best lasagna I've ever had. The prices are reasonable and whenever I'm in town I must eat at this yummy place.
Best Italian restaurant in the U. P.!! The 7oz sizzler and Lasagna are second to none! And their garlic bread is to to die for!! It's the first place we always eat at when we come up from Battle Creek to visit with family.
Firstly, the atmosphere is pretty lame. Very tacky and faux-Italian to the point that it's almost laughable.
The prices are pretty high, but not ridiculous for a quality meal. You'd expect to spend the same at most other semi-fine dining restaurants in town.
Here's the issue, though: the food was incredibly disappointing. The only part I enjoyed was the garlic bread, which let's be honest, is pretty hard to screw up. The rest of my food tasted either straight from the freezer, or dumped out of a bag pre done. Definitely lacked the authentic Italian flavor. I would expect to pay half the price for the quality.
All in all, would never recommend this restaurant, there are MANY better places in town.
Best Italian restaurant in Marquette. Awesome lasagna and garlic bread. Large portions. There desserts are really good also, so make sure you save room. Great friendly staff, very comfortable environment warm and inviting.
I enjoy the food here and have been here multiple times, however, it is a little pricey. You do get a pretty good portion for what you're paying. Very nice atmosphere. My only complaint is that everytime I got the garlic bread it was literally swimming in butter. They could tone down the butter a little.
