I have had to be at the ER twice in the past two weeks for a family member. Both times the room had blood spots on the floors as well as they smelled strongly of urine. The halls smelled of urine and had trash swept against the walls behind machine sitting there. In 30 plus years I have never seen the ER in this shape. Seems with the money paid to the hospital they could afford a better cleaning service. Not what one would expect to see or smell in an environment that is suppose to be for ones health.

I had to give 1 review to make a comment ib checked myself out heart monitor was off all night nurse didnt check on me or even seen it was off didn't give me my meds at all that I'm supposed to have i will go somewhere else before here

Some ER staff should not be working there. I was treated like an addict and never received proper care.

I had my youngest there 10 months ago. I delivered my older 3 at a different hospital and MGH was by far the best. She had to stay in the special needs nursery due to being born premature. The nurses in there were wonderful. The pediatrician was wonderful. The lady's at the desk were wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints. I would recommendthis hospital to any couple expecting a little one.

Got to be a junky or heroin addict and frequent flier in order to get the proper medical treatment. That's sad and the simple fact truth. You can come here once or twice a year if that even and they'll still give you the weakest drug for an honest person hurting. Plain simple this place should be an Islamic State's Target useless hospital. Hell Russia or Syria should flat line this building.

I've had to stay at the Marion General Hospital twice. Both times the staff took very good care of me. They are friendly and caring! I did overhear two nurses discussing me during a shift change, and I was described as being nice. That may be why I was treated well. It's the golden rule peopletreat others the way you want to be treated. Try it; it works!

Keep your belongings close to you even from the guards. The guards broke my south African rosewood cane gave me the run around for over 2 months about the issue telling me they have video and blah blah blah. Got a call today to go in with my broken cane to talk to them about it.. apparently nothing they say can be trusted since I was given 3 different stories, one about video recordings of the incident and then all the sudden the videos were not recording on that perticular day lol. Then some Jan Persinger (head of loss prevention) is a woodworking master that is apparently blind as a bat and could not see the cracks in the top of the cane due to the guard over tightening it when I told him not to take my cane appart. Honestly people these people are a shady lot. They said that their employees are trustworthy and even tho they have no evidence to back up the guards that broke my cane they decided to do nothing about and dismissed me and my broken south African hand made rosewood cane. These are some lying manipulative people here and I would stand clear of this place. The staff nurses are ignorant and rude and the doctors know about as much as you can learn from the band aid box. Horrible horrible people that would destroy something that another uses to walk with and not give a dam that it has been destroyed by their employees hands.

One day good, the next disastrous. Doctors and nurses do not communicate. Im NPO, I'm not NPO. I'm here to take your lunch order.um, I'm NPO. Oh sorry you are in my computer as needing lunch. I can't have my damn meds, why the hell would I be able to eat? The doctor was supposedly paged 2.5 hours ago. 2.5 HOURS!!! and counting.I'm reaching my boiling point, and am about to say screw my little procedure here and leave to go to OSU. At least there, doctors talk.

After visiting a private practice primary care physician, I was recommended a routine x-ray. After speaking with a billing specialist, they quoted me around $165. No one in the hospital collected payment on the day of service and did not know anything regarding billing.
After a few weeks, I received a bill in the mail for over $750 for this routine xray. Multiple 3rd party services on Google such as Health Care Blue Book quote $150-$200 for this service. The billing department said that this is their fee and it is not negotiable. After some investigation, it seems they added the $165 x-ray fee with a $625 "facility fee" that is charged to all outpatient visits. The hospital bundles the codes.
