The seats are cushiony and they rock slightly and the arms between them can be raised. The popcorn was hot and fresh and crunchy and there was just write the right amount of butter on it. Service was polite and friendly and prompt. I really enjoy seeing movies at this theater!

It the coziest movie theater in Cincinnati but I wish the seats were a little more comfortable. Other than that small complaint, the Mariemont Theatre is fantastic. Great movie selections, quiet audiences that seem to be serious viewers, good popcorn and free parking!

I believe one of the best film theatre organizations in the United States. This theatre, one of four in its family in Cincinnati, offers popular films often from Europe but almost always in English. Very clean, exceptional associates, imaginative, high quality snacks including wine and beer. An excellent website to notify patrons of current films and upcoming events. Not your parents movie house.

We saw Victoria and Abdul here on a Saturday afternoon. The theater is in the hear of Mariemont. The city is at the eastern end of Route 50. So it is a bit of a drive to get there but a nice drive anyway. But give yourself some extra time to get there. Also the close public parking is limited (free for 2 hours) so you may have to walk.
The theater is small but clean and well cared for. No reclining seats or anything fancy. The snack bar is normal theater prices but they offer handmade snacks such as macarons, cheese plates and similar things besides candy and popcorn. We found parking right in front and were inside in 5 minutes. You also have the chance to stroll around a beautiful neighborhood after your film.
    The staff is very friendly.

This is a beautiful historic theatre. It's been in the heart of Mariemont for decades and is still running strong. This is the perfect place to go watch that small budget foreign film that isn't at the big multiplex theatre. They have great popcorn and a great selection of liquors.

Very old seats, screens, and projection equipment. Other than that, though, it's a great place to see a movie! They also have very good popcorn!

Love this quaint, little theater. Movie selections are usually very good & they serve real butter on their popcorn!

Great theatre for Independent films. Cozy chairs. If I were a local, I'd join their film club.

I love the Esquire and I love it's sister theatre, too! They have really decent prices, coupons in the Bear Cash and they show awesome movies. Most of them are independent or smaller movies, which I love!

On my last visit we went on a Wednesday for a 2:30p show and had no problem parking in the little lit across the street.

I don't make it out to this particular location very frequently, but the neighborhood is cute and there are places nearby to eat before or after.

This is a wonderful art theater. It shows foreign films and others that are not shown in the larger theaters. Great addition to the town of Mariemont!

Well I'm giving this theater 4 stars for nostalgia. I remember coming here as a child to see Old Yeller and The Apple Dumpling Gang. It looks like we walked back in time and is exactly as I remember. The lobby may be different. I didn't order food or drinks because I was stuffed from dinner, but it looks like they serve wine in addition to the usual movie snacks.

My one negative is that the seats were uncomfortable. Granted, I have a bad back and neck. But it's quaint, not crowded, and Mariemont is sort of adorable, right? We were able to order our tickets in advance and walk right in with the ticket taker scanning our phones.

It's not luxurious, with the big comfy recliners, it's smaller than most theaters. But it's Mariemont with the Tudor buildings and the marquee looked just as I remembered it.
