Margaret and her staff were good for a second move. It did take several more hours than estimated; though I'm not going to complain because it was difficult moving heavy, bulky furniture and appliances down 4 stories. The gentlemen that did the move were polite, upbeat and eager to move anything. I hope I'm not moving for quite a while, but they would be the ones I'll call first.

Staff were courteous and helpful. They were knowledgeable about getting our whole house into one move, very impressive.

The office staff was SO accommodating as we scheduled and rescheduled the move as our closing date kept changing.

Everything was handled with care and there were no issues. We were loaded and unloaded within the timeframes estimated. They were efficient and had their processes down.

I was very stressed, but all of them were very calm, which really helped me out. Plus they joked around with my husband (he liked that part), keeping him happy helped relieve my stress too.

Thank you very much for your professionalism and adaptability. You are much appreciated.

Amazing service! I called for a treadmill to be moved from the front porch, around the house, and up a few flights of stairs. An older man named Stormi gave me a great quote and was at my house in less than 30 minutes. Very friendly and worked quickly! I highly recommend!

We hired Margaret’s to move us out of our old home and into our new one this week. Prior to that, we hired them 9 years ago to move us into that home as well. We were very pleased with both experiences. My husband commented today that the 3 gentlemen who moved our belongings each worked harder today than he’s ever worked a day in his life. They were professional, efficient and friendly. They moved our 4 bedroom home with ease. We will use them any time we ever need movers, and we will recommend them highly to family and friends.

I scheduled my move with them 6 weeks prior. I even called twice to confirm and gave them my credit card info. They were to be here between 9 and 10am this morning. They never showed up -ever! I called numerous times between 11am and 5 pm. I was finally told that the crew took the second move instead of me first. As of 5:15, they still couldn’t contact any of their crews. Had to hire someone else quickly which will cost me a ton of money. Run away from this moving company!

We have completed our move finding no damage of any kind. Every item was placed where we asked in our new location.

The four workers were all very nice and professional, asking a lot of questions to make certain they were satisfying us as best they could. They worked steady. Porscha, who gathered the information and set up the move was also very nice.

I was very happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone.

We want to thank this kind caring company for taking care of us on a minutes notice!! We needed a couch moved across town and had no one to help us. I called them because I had a past history with hiring them and they was so kind to help us and only charged a minimal fee for doing so. The guys was so nice and it was very hot! I am writing this review to comment on the integrity of this company. I have never used a moving company before, but found myself needing one this weekend after my mother passed & my 88 y.o. dad was moving out of their home. While trying to set this up, I accidentally booked 2 different moving companies, giving them my debit card for the deposit. I was shocked when, after the move had been done, Margaret's Movers called an hour or so later, saying their people were at my dad's house ready to go, and no one was there. I realized what I had done & apologized. I expected to lose some of that deposit for them sending a crew out, but surprisingly, Margaret's Movers said they appreciated my honesty and my not trying to say it was their mistake. They refunded the whole deposit!! You don't see that much anymore with any business. I hope anyone who sees this review will book them for their move!

Absolutely worst move ever. The only reason they are worth 1 star is because the person in the office was reasonably helpful. I should have just moved everything myself and avoided the damage to my refrigerator and walls. STAY AWAY!!!!

Margaret's Moving was very helpful and accommodating from the very start. We had a messy and quick closing and they were able to schedule me in with little notice. The phone staff were very friendly. They gave me a call 30 minutes before arriving. The 3 movers were nice and professional. I lived on the second floor with a tight staircase and they did a great job of getting my very heavy and awkward sofa and loveseat with dual recliners built in, down those stairs. They wrapped everything so nothing would get scratched. When we got to the new house, they put everything where we asked them to put it. As everyone knows, moving can be a very stressful time, and Margaret's Movers helped take away a lot of that stress.

Whatever you do, do not use these moving services. They are very unprofessional and don't care about customer service. If I was the owner of this company (Margaret) I'd feel embarrassed about the workers that represent me. They hire people without proper background checks along with going through third party movers when they don't have enough movers for their work load (this coming from workers, Elizabeth and Olivia). When things go missing, you can forget about hearing back from the people who work here. You're the one who has to take initiative and contact them about missing items. At that point they give you the whole speech about how it takes up to 10 business days for the claim to process, but at the same time you were told this two other times. So how many times must a claim be processed before they actually take fault? They don't need to be in a business like this, trust me this place is not worth the time or money. You'll loose more money than save. I will definitely be contacting the BBB and FMCSA. #sorrynotsorry

I called for a quote on moving one bedroom, a TV and some boxes from one town to another. I get a quote of $1200. When I ask why so much for such a small load they tell me they send out a MINIMUM of 3 men and a truck on every job. No exceptions. Even if there is no need for more than 2 men.

They were not very flexible on the pickup time either. I think these people are in the wrong business. I think any business is the wrong business for them since their customer service is so bad. Did not use, will not use.

Way to go and come to the rescue at the last minute!
When another moving company stood me up and couldn't reschedule my move Margaret came to the rescue and was able to squeeze my move into their schedule within 2 days of my call. (Everyone else was saying it would be the week after the 4th of July. 8 or more days after I had to be out of my apartment.) The rate was even less than my original moving company. The 3 man team that came out was friendly and willing to do whatever we needed them to do and worked well with my 75 year old mother and let her go through stored boxes to decide what to take and not to take while they were moving other boxes. (Even though it slowed the down the process a bit, it was worth the extra cost). We also had an extra cost for a stop at our storage unit to drop off over half the truck load. (The only caveat I have here is that I didn't know there would be an extra charge. It was half the cost of regular truck fee. I don't object to the cost and understand why it was charged. I just wasn't expecting it. When I was discussing the move over the phone and asking when we could schedule the move of the items to the storage unit vs the move to the new apartment I was asked why not do it all at once and save on the truck cost. No mention was made that there would be an extra charge for the stop at the second location. But like I said I don't object to the extra cost just the fact that I didn't know about it ahead of time. The other thing they did that I liked was that when we finally did get to our new apartment it was so late that they called in some more guys to help unload to speed things up and the cost for that turned out to be negligible and I didn't even notice it.
While we always tip our movers, we were so happy with how well this move went after having so many trials and tribulations with the previous movers, etc. that we tipped more than we ever had before.
