Emeralds International has been such a pleasure to work with. I purchased a ring 15 years ago and just recently returned it to them for repair. Carl did such an excellent job, he fully restored it and made my ring look brand new. He and the staff were very kind and helpful and communicated to me every step of the way. I got a beautiful, exceptional emerald and octopus necklace! It sat a little low and snagged a blouse and when Diana called just to follow up and see if I was happy with my purchase she had me send it back and they shortened it at no charge so it now sits perfectly! This place is extraordinary! My husband (then fiancée) had secretly done a little research and took me in to have our wedding rings designed by Carl. The experience was fantastic. Carl is a genius! We both immediately felt comfortablethe store isn't too big, the staff (love love love Stephanie) is fun, extremely knowledgeable, and sold the items on their obvious merits (aka no pressure)

Carl himself is professional, has a warm manner and exemplary taste, patient, his explanations of the various settings and materials were easy to understand, and he's funny as hell. When I asked for advice concerning diamond grade etc he did not steer me towards the most expensive, he steered me towards the correct grade for the piece in question. You can trust him. He stuck by all estimates and both rings were completed when he said they would be. Dig me some Carl! They are serious when it comes to making sure their stones are purchased in mines with excellent reputations. The pricing is also VERY reasonable. There's a reason these guys have been in business forever

It is 100% worth making a trip out to Key West if you're looking for a special piece of jewelry or want to have something designed. It doesn't matter if you want to spend $1,000 or $1,000,000. You won't be disappointed. Emeralds is a very special place.

Bill McRoberts worked with Sherri & I to design a custom pendant using my 1715 Mel Fisher 2 Escudo gold coin. I had found an circa 1620 Atocha emerald at Emerald city on the JB Magruder salvage ship in 2014. Bill and Manuel made a reversible textured frame and added 8 Muzo emeralds at the corners built into the tabs and featured the emerald I had found for my wife to wear.
Bill was a hoot to work with and we had so much fun. The gold coin is from Santa Fe de Bogota and the frame swivels to show either side of the coin. It is neat to merge the two shipwrecks both found by Mel Fisher.
It is so special to us and means alot to have Manuel involved as he is an authority on Muzo emeralds and Mel Fisher.
We look forward to our next visit at Emeralds International.

Just came back from Key West where we purchased a lovely emerald and diamond ring for my birthday. The quality of their emeralds are just gorgeous - wish our budget would have allowed for more. It is a small specialty store, not the huge cruise ship type, as it is locally owned and has been for years. They have a wonderful selection of pieces for every budget. I am very pleased with our purchase!
