Delivery is nice. Haven't tried the pizza, but the pasta's and salads are pretty good. The price is a little high on some items. Should get two small pieces of eggplant rollatini for $5.99 instead of one.
Stumbled upon this corner bistro by happenstance on Sunday late lunch. Maybe 5 tables throughput during our visit. Server had a loud resignating voice and service spot on, it reminded me of an old school friendly diner. She recommended the lunch special and it was enough food for today's lunch and tomorrows too. Taste was nothing exemplary but it was good. Dessert looked tempting, but that's another visit. Polite outstanding service and agreeable food will cause my return.
Our son's wedding was catered. The food was amazing and the service was also excellent. They were very easy to work with. We will dine with them again in the future. They are not a chain and provide great Italian food.
The food was very tasty. Nice little Neighborhood Place. We didn't have the pizza, though I've heard great things about it. Most of the dishes are prepared in large bowls and cooked by running them through a pizza oven. Pros and cons to that method but the dishes come out cooked and tasty in the end. All in all a great experience. I'll be bringing back more family members in the future.
The Fettuccine Alfredo is absolutely great. Service has always been good for us. We've been regulars for probably twenty years and hope to be for twenty more.
Absolutely love this restaurant. We've been coming to it since it opened in 1993 and I'm very proud to say that they have not changed any of the recipes! Best Italian restaurant in Wichita!!
Food was fabulous but we waited at our table for a long time! Waitress was extremely inattentive and got our order wrong. 1/4 through our meal we were still waiting for bread which we watched sit under the warmer, waiting to be picked up. We will come back but will request a different server. She needs to do better
Local authentic italian cuisine. Food and service are both good.I was impressed by all the to go orders they had being delivered by staff. Great for customers that live close.
I have been going to Marchello's since my sister introduced me to it 16 years ago! Yes, there are times I've had long waits for my food and some little imperfections, BUT It is ALWAYS worth the wait! They have always taken care of me and that is what keeps me coming back. Everyone is always friendly! It has been amazing watching this place grow and get busier because the word got out of how amazing the food is. It's no secret anymore! They listen to criticism and adjust accordingly. I am so happy to hear they expanded and opened another location out west! They send the food through an oven on a "belt" and it cooks it perfectly! I always order the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo and meatball appetizer (the BEST Alfredo I've ever had). I have also tried several pasta dishes, pizza and appetizers which are just as great but I always go back to my favorite dish. They usually know what I order when I walk in! I really can't talk this place up enough, I adore it! An amazing family owned restaurant in Wichita. Definitely worth a try! If you don't want to wait during the busy times, call ahead your order before you leave the house. They are VERY accommodating!
Had the Lasagna, which was amazing with the Great Wine that we got with it (Apothic Red). Our server Efrain was excellent. We went in 30 minutes before closing and they were completely understanding and served us a fantastic meal despite that fact
The Newport Grill is a well-established restaurant in Wichita that offers some of the finest if not the finest dining in town. They specialize in extremely well prepared seafood dishes, steaks and some other innovative menu items. Service is typically exceptionally good and they have a well trained bar staff and an excellent wine list.
It's crazy to read these reviews, I've been here time and time again and again, once in a while yes service has been slow, but they are always kind and apologetic. Food is always delicious, Whether in or having it delivered..literally my only complaint is I can not get Italian soda delivered, but when I want it we just go get it. I appreciate the great local dining. It's hard to find great places like this with awesome food. So what there's a cob Web here or there, adds character. Don't miss out because you read a review from someone with a bad experience, give it a shotwell worth it.
About 1 month ago, I went to dine in. My order was taken and brought to me. I was never asked how my food was or given a water refill. I didn't leave a tip.
Today I called a carryout order in at 7pm & was told it would be 25 minutes. I arrived at 730pm on time & told that it would be another 10 minutes. After not 10 minutes but 25 more minutes I was told my order was ready. I asked for a discount because it was now 8 pm and my order was now 30 minutes late. I was offered only 10% discount. I said I wanted 25%. I was declined. A lady at the counter said that they were learning a new system. I said I understood but they shouldn't have promised me 25 minutes. If they had told me a one hour wait I would not have shown up at 730pm. I love Italian food but I shall never go to Marchellos again. I used to go dine there about 5 times a year. I suggest you drive elsewhere for Italian food.
The atmosphere is nice, romantic, & quiet. The food is great! Although, sometimes, you have to wait a little long due to their oven. Worth the wait though!
