Fairly new to the craft beer world, I stopped in after a few friends told me that Goebel has the best selection in the area. They have an astounding selection of craft brews, both from local breweries, and imported from around the globe. I was pretty much clueless, but the knowledgeable staff spoke with me about my preferences and were easily able to make some great recommendations. They helped me build a few of my own 6-packs made up of single brews so that I would have plenty of different options to find a new favorite brew.

Goebel has a huge selection of singles that you can build your own six pack with, if you're looking to find a new beer. They also stock tons and tons of regular six packs if you already know what you're after. The selection paired with the helpful staff made my visit a very pleasant experience. I appreciated the staff taking time to talk with me and helping me choose some things I would be sure to enjoy.

Wow, dropped by for a bottle of wine and was amazed! This store has possibly 2000 varieties of beer! Even more amazing is they sell much of it in singles so you can try flavors you have never experienced. Well worth the drive to the west side to check this store out.

This store has perhaps the most amazing selection of beers I have ever seen! Over 2000 varieties available in single cans and bottles so you can sample them without buying a six pack. Additionally the have wine from local Kansas vineyards. Amazing selection and friendly staff, will be back!

Usually really great prices. They have a "build your own" beer bundle So you can try multiple beers, singularly, without having to do a full six pack. I thought that was an awesome option especially cause they have so many different types of beer.

This was my first time at the store and I have to say that I was impressed! I don’t normally leave reviews on a business that I have only been to once, but this place is deserving of it. The beer selection was fantastic and encompassed a wide range of craft beers including local options. I interacted with several staff members who were professional and helpful. This will be my go to spot from now on to get beer.

This is my spot. I have been getting my drink on for the last 11 years with this establishment. They have the best selections of beer this side of the river. Great service, coupled with a friendly knowledgeable staff make this a must stop for your after work beverages.

I always have had a good experience every time i walked through the door. Everyone is always helpful and extremely nice. I don't come in very often but the times i have stopped in i have never had any complaints. It's the only liquor store i will shop at if i can. I love that there is so many options. The store is always clean too. I love the fact that you can make your own six pack. I am a IPA drinker and love dark beer and wine. They really do have a lot of options. I have told other people if they have not tried Goebel liquor then they should. They have good prices as well. They get 5 stars from me

I called Goebel for a price quote on a very specific kind of whiskey. They had it for an amazing price. I drove down to get it and sure enough it was labeled the price I was quoted over the phone. I bought it and another bottle and checked out. I didn't notice at the time but they charged me 10 bucks more the the price marked at the store so I called back and talked to Little John and told him the issue. At first he told me I was wrong but I explained to him that the price was marked clearly on the label. He said he was sorry and would refund my money. This was 4 days ago and I still have not seen my refund.

While they have an excellent selection, clean store, and a friendly staff I will not be going back.

That is not true at all. I was told "I'll take care of it", and that was all. At no point was I asked to return to the store. So now I need to waste another lunch break to drive across town to rectify something that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

From the exterior of the building, you wouldn't think much. But inside? Glorious shelves of beers you could only imagine! Bottles of wine, scotch, and various other liquor. My brother-in-law, from San Francisco, was pleasantly surprised at the huge selection. He exclaimed he didn't think Wichita had a place like this. Yes, we do. So be proud, Wichita. Be supportive of local businesses like Gloebel.. Thank you, Rob!

Not only do they have the best selection in town, Rob IS the reason Wichita had such a great craft beer scene. As for the prices as reviewed by another, yes sometimes things are a little higher. However, often they are cheaper. It's like any retail establishment. They have fair prices, great selection, and their customer service and knowledge CANNOT be matched in town!
