Dignity, Respect, thoughtfulness. That’s how my loved one was cared for. Understanding our situation being over 1200 miles away, Kimberly assured and handled everything would be done right. I thank her and the Mangano Family for their services. Once again they live up to the Family Funeral.

Mangano Family Funeral home in Deer Park is top notch. We had my dad's funeral there in September. Sean, was our funeral director. Sean gave my dad a beautiful funeral and send off with respect and dignity above and beyond what we ever expected. Sean arranged for a police flag ceremony, pall bearers and bugle player (my dad was retired from NYPD). At the cemetary, Sean arranged for a military flag ceremony and bugle player (my dad was in the Navy). We did not go to Calverton. We went to Pinelawn for the burial. It all meant so much to us. From the minute we walked in to make the funeral arrangements until the limousine dropped us off at home we were treated so kindly.
Sadly, we were back 5 weeks later in October to make arrangements for my son's funeral. My 29 year old son passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Again, we were treated with such care. Sean is amazing. He didn't even blink an eye when we requested for visitors to wear crazy socks. My son was treated with dignity and respect. The cosmetologist did a wonderful job. It looked like my son. Thank you for that. The send off my son received was perfect. We had my son cremated. When we went to pick up his ashes, we met Kim. Kim, thank you for taking the time to sit and talk with us. Sean, thank you for being so kind, gentle, amazing and for being a good listener. Thank you to Sal as well for going above and beyond for my family. Sean, Sal, Kim, Dawn, Amanda thank you for everything. I am sorry if I left off some names. But, truly, the entire staff at Mangano's is great. I hope I don't have to plan another funeral for a while. But if I do, it will be at Mangano's.

Sal and his team, Dawn and James, were so caring and attentive to all our needs during my dads wake and funeral service. We had over 200 people come through the services and it felt organized, calming, and comforting. The small seating areas, with couches added a homey feel. The renovation is really perfect. I really can't say enough about the place.

We visited several funeral homes and none of them compared to Mangano. The Mangano location in Deer Park is beautiful, accommodating to all needs and kept in pristine condition. The personnel and customer service were a 5-star rating in my book! The team helped us put together a photo montage very last minute which was beyond our expectations. We were scrambling with flowers, and they helped us get that in order and worked with their local florist to help prepare our service. This was our first experience getting all these arrangements together and the Mangano team was instrumental in creating a beautiful service for a deceased mother that over exceeding our expectations. In addition, the facility has a private space for children which served to be very helpful for several of our family members. I would hands down recommend them to all of my friends and family and they will be my funeral home of choice moving forward. Thanks again to every single team member that assisted us on 8/18! We were able to only focus on mourning our deceased mother in peace without added stress.
