Service was efficient and compassionate, from original inquiry, thru the middle of the night response, the cremation and the follow-up RJ was an absolute gem. He treated Judy and me with the utmost respect. He never referred to my wife in any impersonal way, always using her name. I will be making arrangements with him for my own final disposition, confident that his compassion will help to ease any pain felt by those I may leave behind. Thank you again and may God bless. When my family lost my stepmother in September, we called RJ Slater IV Funeral Services. RJ is companionate, empathetic and courteous. We gave him the details of the hospital and he took everything from there. When I knew things were happening, I searched many different funeral homes in reality to find a reasonably priced service. I had no idea how expensive it was to die. He was the best priced and honestly the process was easy. RJ Slater went out of their way to help me deal with my mothers passing. So many other funeral homes wanted to nickel and dime me - or just didn't return my phone calls, but RJ Slater handled everything timely and with incredible professionalism.

I am so thankful to RJ Slater for the compassionate help during our time of extreme sorrow. I've never had to be directly involved in making final arrangements and this was especially hard because it was my youngest son who passed away unexpectedly. Mr. Slater was very gracious and so very helpful and I feel he went above and beyond. I would recommend this funeral home to everybody.
