The lunch buffet was a pleasant surprise after being disappointed by some Indian places in Charlotte so far. Their veggie items were really pretty good! Most of the chicken items could have used a little more spice but overall very good if not totally amazing.

I could have given negative stars if available.
Worst buffet ever. Talk to the waiter before you enter. Never met such an honest waiter expressing his bad review on the restaurant.

Awesome food, they just customized the spice level based on our needs, really enjoyed our dinner. All the people working there greeted us and made our evening comfortable and friendly. Looking forward to visit again soon.

Very bad service. Disturbing staffs.. didn't allow our gang to have peaceful dinner. Is there a way to put 0 stars? they didn't ask us before taking back the platesThey took back our plates even before we finish eatingso be careful while eating here Highly not recommended!!!!

Ate here just once. The food was fabulous. The only other Indian location that has come close in my mind in Charlotte is the Blue Taj in South Charlotte. Quick service, and polite staff. Not the fanciest place, but the food was awesome.

Very clean restaurant , Excellent food in low prices. Lunch buffet great testing variety. My family love to go there. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend.

While the staff were friendly, the food was mediocre. The dishes were under seasoned, and some were over seasoned with cinnamon. This is also not a good place for vegetarians. The lunch buffet is small, with only two or three vegetarian dishes available at a time.

I would not recommend this restaurant to someone who is vegetarian and/or accustomed to strongly seasoned Indian food. This place is probably better for people who are new to Indian food and not yet used to its variety or strong flavors.

Visited this place for Indian buffet and I must say I enjoyed the food, number of options along with unlimited drinks. Though we visited on Mother's Day might be drinks are part of that occasion. If not than its a very good package. On weekend one can give their taste buds to rest for a very reasonable price

This is the BEST service in Charlotte. They are the nicest people here, I'd go here if I was lonely just yo have some friendly people talk to me. The food is awesome. The service is great. Only people who have bad things to say are other Indians. Well I'm American and let me tell you people in Charlotte are rude. Go here, just for peace of mind. Relaxing environment. Great all around.

If you're looking for a place that serves authentic food akin to what you'd actually find in Northern India, Maharani is one of the few places in Charlotte that I've found so far that evokes that. I loved it and plan to return many times.

If you're looking for Indian/American fusion or a place with a lot of sophistication and polish, this is not necessarily the place for you. If you're looking for food that is authentic, tastes great, and leaves you thinking about what you ate, this is a great choice near the Uptown area.

This place's food is lit. The service isn't super Americanized but they are polite and attentive. My favorite vegetarian dish is the okra. Love this place.
