Delicious Pizza. You really can't go wrong no matter what you get it seems. I have come back several times and the food was fresh and good.

This place truly has delicious pizza! Potions are generous. It is our favorite pizza place when visiting Big Bear. Service is always friendly and timely. Highly recommend you stop by!

The burgers are good not as I would've hoped Definitely not worth what I paid for. I'd expect a regular burger to come with fries included since I paid 10 bucks for it. We went to Thelma's restaurant and the burgers there were way cheaper and by far delicious. I'm coming back to.orrow for breakfast.

Wow! The pizza here tasted extremely good, and so fresh! It was a great experience and great service from the waiters. I will definitely come hear again next time I come to Big Bear.

We simply HAD to eat at Maggio's every time we went skiing. My kids and their friends all loved this place. It is a very simple family friendly diner, nothing fancy. The food is simply wonderful, consistently tasty very reasonably priced and the portions are "abundanza". Maggio's is the kind of place that after dining there once you will wish they would open one closer to your home. This is the kind of restaurant you will crave over and over and over again.
I chuckled at a few of the reviews about the snippy staff or problems people had with the menu or the quality of food and just shook my head in disbelief. They were very delicate people with fastidious needs and hypersensitive to imagined insults or racial discrimination. We have eaten there for years and I have never seen anything like that. During the winter many people who work on the mountain eat there because of the high quality of food, large proportions and very reasonable prices.
The folks who work there have always been very accommodating, very friendly and very welcoming to everyone who walks through the door and in my experience everyone who walks out of the door does so with a very contented smile having eaten a very tasty meal.
Maggio's is a tremendous place to eat! My wife is Italian and she loves it too!response / report this review -

The pizza was good but our calzone wasn't the best. We ordered Togo and the calzone was limp and soggy and just all around not very good. But the staff was super friendly and nice and the prices were cheap for Big Bear. I would try it again if in the area.

Weekday lunch special- sandwich(Pastrami Sandwich is the BEST), drink, and fries or salad. Huge portions, quality food, definitely my boyfriends favorite. Great family spot, great for special occasions or parties. Has been a go to spot for my family since I was a kid visiting Big Bear.

Being from the east coast you can't find good pizza out here on the west coast. By far the closest and most incredible pizza I've tasted in the past 10 years of being here awesome menu great place to go when you get off the slopes

The staff is always friendly, your food arrives in a timely manner, and the pizza is fantastic! My favorite is the philly cheese steak pizza. :)

Great staff. Pizza was a little greasy But isn't that how you know the cheese is real? They do use California Real Cheese. Good local pizza. Gluten free crust!
