I hadn't been there in 20 to 30 years and was pleasantly surprised by the large menu, cleanliness, and service. It’s really my kind of food, from hamburgers and chili dogs, to onion rings and milk shakes. Since it’s self serve, the service is excellent! HAHA!! Mmmm ……

Great place and good food. I enjoyed the atmosphere which was quite calm. Great local place in battle creek away from the fast foods restaurant. Plus real sliverware cause plastic isnt enough. Overall i love the place and will come back again for that and friendly service from staff.

Stopped in for breakfast this morning. I've been coming to Fort Custer Training Center for over ten years and I have no idea how I have never been introduced to this local gem. I will be bringing many Soldiers back her for good value , good food, great atmosphere. I'm going to order four Deep Fried Pop Tarts to go.

Much better then I ever expected. On the outside it just seems like some average restaurant but it offers excellent service and great food. I would consider it a hidden gem.

I love Mr. Don's! The food is always good and mostly freshly prepared to your order! Best fries in town and the biscuits and gravy are just great! Clean and friendly environment!

Best place in Battle Creek to get chili dogs however they offer many items from the amazing biscuits and gravy to the fried Oreos. They are cash only but there is an ATM on site.

Atmosphere in the lobby is dingy. Food is overly fried. One of those places you feel like you need to shower after you go.

Always fresh and good for quick breakfast. Long waits in drive thru and no cards accepted but it's worth getting some cash if you don't like the big chain burger places.

This restaurant is an ungodly mess. The food is either undercooked or burnt, the building (probably a former McDonald's) is way outdated, the employees are rude and incompetent, and the prices are criminal considering the quality. You're better off going to restaurants in downtown Battle Creek.
