Great place to take kids. Would have given it 5 stars if I hadn't seen a kid licking a hands on display Made me want to take a shower in Hand Sanitizer.

The MOSH is an excellent science and history museum located in downtown Jacksonville. Displays are well planned and keep your attention. A portion of the displays rotate so that you can go over and over. Well worth it for all ages.

I have been more than a few times in my life, from ages 5 and up. I always had fun here. The jta electric show was always pretty awesome, even as an adult. I recommend for anyone with children or as adults looking to find out more about science and or the history of Jacksonville Florida.

I love MOSH and have been going there for years. I took my son when he was little, he even went to their summer camp. Recently I have taken my granddaughter and she wanted to go back a few weeks later, so we did. They have a good rotation of exhibits and a helpful and friendly staff. Some favorites are the planetarium and the marine exhibits. While not that exciting for the kids the exhibit on the history of jacksonville "cowford" was very interesting and informative.

Nice interactive place. My 8 year old loved everything she could touch. My 14 year old mildly tolerated but at least he didn't complain the whole time. The Ancient Rome exhibit was very nice.

A perfect place for family fun. Learning is natural and integrated into the exhibits. There is a little bit of everything here and I appreciate the local organizations contributing to the museum. It's accessible as well and easy to navigate. My only complaints are the lack of a snack area, lack of more space outdoors, and the limited parking.

I normally don't enjoy Mosh but their Dinosaurs in Motion exhibit is wonderful! They even have tables set up for the kids to invent with and be creative. We had a great time!

$5 Friday was a great deal, didn't anticipate the crowd that went with it. As other reviews wrote, the parking isn't free that's an additional $5. Exhibits are nice but crowds limited enjoyment.

I loved MOSH as a child and now I get to fall in love all over again with my children. Completely interactive, built for active minds and geared towards the exploration of not only our past and present but also our future. Got the family of 4 membership package and plan on going back at every new exhibit opening!

Very good museum, we enjoyed our day here. The highlights of the visit were the 2 shows we watched at the planetarium, really excellent! They have a $5.00 Fridays special that we lucked into. They do not have a cafe here, so eat before you come. There was a dinosaur hands on exhibit that the kids especially loved. In fact, this is a super place for children, with so many interactive, fun, and learning exhibits

This museum had a lot to offer. The time line of Jacksonville's history was really impressive. The interactive dinosaurs were amazing. If you are visiting the area, make this one of your destinations. Our only complaint would be the planetarium. We watch the history of the telescope and the image was blurry throughout the presentation.
