Rooms are average and very clean. Not sure how expensive the rooms are, mine was comped. Hotel/Casino Lobby is beautiful. View from our room was fantastic. Staff for hotel are friendly and helpful. Casino is good, not very big. Need more employees at rewards check in, always a line with sometimes only one employee working while the casino floor is overstaffed. Seems they should be able to relocate staff as customers needs change throughout the day. Both restaurants have good food and are not overpriced. Also live music both Friday and Saturday night.

This is the worst casino I have ever been to. Machines are tightest I have ever seen. Not any fun at all. Couldn't get a bonus even. Food was good. Spent majority of 3 days there in room. Do not recommend and majority of people I talked to there agreed with me?

Stopped in at Kewadin on our way home from exploring the UP. The entrance seems a bit confined, but the parking lot itself is laid out nicely. I was not ID'd on my way in but I am at every other casino. The layout is simplistic and easy to navigate. The ATM couldn't read my card for some reason. Pop machines are few and far between. The bars have a feeling of dragging you off the floor instead of being readily available. The slots are typical for other casinos I've been to in Michigan. The table games area is small with maybe 6 tables operating at a time. The decorations are tacky but the view at the entrance window is beautiful. The bathrooms are tiny to the point that my girlfriend had to stand in line for 5 minutes (not a busy night) and I felt rushed to allow others in. I didn't talk to a single employee during my entire visit. They just walked by. Overall this casino is very basic, not very hospitable, small, but it's still a casino and you're still going to get your gambling fix. It's worth at least a quick visit while passing through St. ignace.

Came sunday afternoon to play blackjack and there was only 1 table open. Waited for a while then went to cafe to eat, waited 30 minutes for a $10 burger. Slow service and no available tables gives this place a 1 star rating because 0 stars was not an option. Because cards were not available i played slots and lost. Maybe with the money i lost, the casino can hire a manager with common sense and more experience. Just letting my fellow card players the scoop, thanks for nothing! Ill try not to come back

It is small but cozy. Very nice set up. Staff seemed nice. Restrooms were clear. It didn't smell of strong smoke like other casinos. Enjoyed my visit.

We went up for a Randy Houser show, arrived at the casino early to eat dinner. Was told by an employee at the bar that they were short staffed and we should go to the buffet
restaurant. We went down to the buffet restaurant, finally got seated and was told if we wanted to order from the menu it would be at least 45 minutes for even an appetizer. We went ahead and ordered the soup and salad bar. There were no soup bowls available, requested an employee get us one, went ahead and ate our salads, went back up to get soup 15 minutes later and still could not get soup bowls. Ate our salads, went to the concert to find they ran out of bud light. This whole experience was a disaster. It appears they were not even closely prepared for the crowd they had. Kewadin has a nice view of the lake. I expected the slots to take my money and it did but they let me play awhile. Nice selection of the older slots people like that the other casinos got rid of.

Not impressed with this hotel. Staff was very unfriendly and condescending. The casino was fine, literally the only part. The room was originally priced at $159/night. When we checked out we were charged $199 after 17% tax and additonally TRIBAL FEES (thought we paid those in the casino). This wouldn't be a big deal if they told us about the additional costs prior to us staying and if our room was even clean. There were m&ms all over the floor, splashes of something brown on the walls in the bathroom, no refrigerator or microwave, no outlets near the beds. I realize you go there for the casino, but come on. For that much we could have spent another $20 and stayed at the Grand Hotel on the island!

Great place to eat and gamble! I'm a veteran and they always give veterans great treatment and special rewards. Most of the staff are very helpful and courteous. The only thing missing was waitresses out at the slot machines. No one ever came by the four hours I was there to see if I wanted a drink or bottle of water.

I liked the size of the casino, not so large that the noise and amount of people inside got to be to much and not so small that I got bored quickly. I'm not a drinker so it was nice to see the availability of free pop, water and coffee. I'm also a non-smoker so I was a little disappointed to see that smoking was still allowed inside. The place was clean, the staff was nice, check in was efficient. The rooms are on the small side with no microwave or fridge. And too expensive for not having those things. Your first time there you can register for a free players card that will include a free 5 bucks to get you started gambling. Remember this tip, no matter what form of payment you are using to gamble, always put your players card into the machine. It registers your playing activity which earns you credits to use gambling. Also, the more you play the more likely you are to earn free night stays, has vouchers, good vouchers, and random deposits of free credits to your card.

The price was right, $50 for one night. Had long road trip and needed a break in the middle. The location was good, the rooms seemed clean though had a cleanser smell to it. The front desk lady seemed bothered that we came in at 10pm (that was noted in the reservation). Three questions with no smile. Besides that it was fine. Stayed a Monday night and the place was a ghost town.
