This is a great family-owned and operated restaurant with friendly and attentive service of a sort that becoming harder to find in the service industry. The food is good solid comfort food, well-presented and well-flavored, and the menu ranges from heavy cheese and meat pastas to heathy soups and salads which are filling but much lower in calories (probably). I personally like the European salad, which comes with roasted veggies, and their cappuccino, which is nicely sweet.
If you're looking for fine dining in DuBois, Luigi's is about the best. The food is always great, good atmosphere and Eddy (the owner) personally checks on his guests! The deserts are also very good and everything is reasonably priced. I've never had a bad meal here in 10 years of patronage.
I love this Italian restaurant! The owner Eddie is a great guy! His daughter and son also work here. The whole family are great! The staff are always friendly and helpful, not to mention the food is fantastic! This is one of my favorite restaurants, it’s just too bad it’s in the city of DuBois pa.we have eaten here several times , and we will continue to come back
Nice place to eat in DoBois. A little expensive for what it was, but it has a great atmosphere. We took our children 4 & 5. They enjoyed their meal. We were sat at a very small table that could hardly manage our plates and glasses. The food was good. Next time I wouldn't bring children.
It was delicious! Excellent service. The portions are just right. At most chain Italian restaurants we spend $80 to $100 (appetizer, entrees, desert) and it was no more than $65 for my husband and I. We are here for a couple of days visiting family, truck driving across the country. Thank you Luigi’s for this awesome experience and fabulous food!
Visiting from North Carolina, just stopped in for lunch. Great atmosphere and employees. Excellent food and you get a lot for your money.
I've gone here several times. Always enjoyed the atmosphere. Wait times aren't long and the staff is very friendly. The food is always awesome. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Delicious!!!! I am so glad our original plans for dinner did not work out or we never would have known about this absolutely mouthwatering food! Very friendly staff and the Jack Daniels lasagna was divine! Please do not take this off of the menu.
Everything was delicious. Staff so friendly. Sang Happy Birthday to my cousin. Wonderful time. We always enjoy our time there,!!
Dinner for 6 was truly memorable! We savored Mussels Scampi, Stuffed bread dough (pepperoni & mozzarella), Calamari (breaded & fried), Mozzarrella sticks, Ribeye steak, Steak salad, Cod Romano, Italian Steak sandwich, and Lobster Ravioli. It's easy to see why this is the "go to" place to celebrate! The homemade bread and marinara sauce are excellent and available for sale too. Friendly, kind staff handled complex orders well. Keep this one on your phone for future visits.
Every time we stop on our trip between MI and NJ we try to stop. Every time it's a great experience. Great food, great waitstaff, and most of all a great owner. If you are anywhere nearby in your travels you need to stop here. You won't be disappointed!!
The service was really good and the food was very good also. Seemed a little bland for Italian but American-ized is usually a little bland. Very nice atmosphere and pleasant staff.
Veggie noodles with pesto. Actual veggie noodles and fresh pesto. I asked for the pesto unseated because it tastes better and isn't as oily. Delicious!
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great prices. A wonderful place to sit and enjoy a meal without the mess at home.
The service, the food, and the atmosphere was awesome never in my whole life was ever treated with kindness and generosity. Eddie came out and greeted my husband and took my husband tomato salad back and made it better. I would recommend anyone who likes Italian food to visit Luigi's. I give it a 5 star!!!!!!
