We have used this facility several times. We have three basic complaints that have been brought up to the owner and staff with no attempts to fix. There is no accurate way to set your target distance. A simple white mark painted on the track that holds the target is all that is needed but no response. If there are two shooters using the lanes they must stand next to each other rather than spreading them out. Why can't one be at each side of the lanes and a third use the center? No attempts to accommodate. The lighting is very poor except for moving your target to the furthest point away from you where it is quite bright. We asked the staff if all the lights were on and they said yes. Not sure why all the distances can't be as bright as the furthest. We would love to continue using this facility because it is so convenient but it is forcing us to join a local gun club to really enjoy the sport. We would appreciate a response from the owner if he wanted to keep our business but I doubt that it will happen.
This is an update as of Dec 2017. Obviously the owner must read these reviews because this facility has totally changed for the better. They corrected the lighting and it is very well lighted now. They now space you out so you aren't shooting next to someone. In fact, they let me shot in another room because people were shooting with assult rifles in the room that I was assigned. There still isn't a way to accurately set the distance on your target but I guess I can live with that for now. I would give it four stars now. They now offer a lot of great daily specials but you unfortunately have to know about them because they aren't on their website or posted. This is another example of how they always seem to just miss the mark on marketing.response / report this review -

Good staff. Somewhat dated lanes, the one I use wouldn't travel farther than 7 yds.

Don't go if your easily offended, counter guys are ok but be prepared to be yelled at if you accidentally breakone of their rules, very rude, and you feel like your walking on eggshells, a nice little polite reminder would have worked so much better, I felt uncomfortable the whole time I was shooting

I went in with my 2 daughters not knowing what to expect. The guys really took the time to explain things to us and even made sure I was comfortable with my oldest daughter showing us how to shoot . The taller gentleman I didn't get his name came in to check on someone else and my daughter suggested I'd be more comfortable with him showing me how to hold a gun and shoot,he was so nice and patient ! The guy who took the payment was really nice as well I will definitely be going back. I was told that they are understaffed but they are willing to help if you need it and if they had a person to spare which I totally get.My oldest has gone there before and my youngest can't wait to go back. We got a chance to speak to other guest and they say it's a nice shooting range so we hope to see them again on our next visit.

Very Friendly with great rates. My first time at a Gun Range it was clean and the guys working there made me feel welcome, unlike Knob Creek where you can wait up to 30 min. To fire your weapon. The wife liked the different target to choose from. Highly recommended.

This is a great place for a new shooter. I like to try out guns before I buy them. So I rented a 380 handgun. Their gun rental selection is not as expanive as Knob Creek Gun Range, but still not bad. Plus they have their selection listed on their website.
The best part is the Armory lacks the level of intimation I feel when at Knob Creek. As a new shooter I like seeing a professional, and clean looking gun range that doesn't feel or run like a military boot camp. I highly recommend this place to anyone that's getting into shooting for the first time.response / report this review -

The range is not bad but the guys in the front are as rude as they come if you have not shoot before apparently you can't use the premises, not good for first timers !!! I had a good experience because nobody ruins my day with just their attitude but if you are looking for helpful and nice people this is not the place. Finally prices are not bad !!!

Used to shoot here a couple times a month, range is now brass only though. Guess they are trying to make a few extra cents from casings. Extremely disappointing when they put secondary income over customer satisfaction.
Other than that, ranges are well lit with LEDs and adequately ventilated. Kind of cold in the range on cold days so wear a jacket.response / report this review
