The quintessential small town bakery. A place that is, sadly, going out of fashion. A good variety of pastries and assorted deserts, priced accordingly, and well made by people who have been doing this a long time. I loved it.

We sampled a nice variety of their baked goods: brownies, donuts, cookies. All were very good. From what I hear many items are so good people order them to be shipped and delivered out of town. Order early!

I don't make it to the store front enough but get the doughnuts at our Shell stops. Whenever my birthday comes around I always order my cake from here. Hard to want anything from any other bakery. (a good problem to have)

Almost wished I waited. Could of had a better donuts and cookies at Meijers.my kid loved the cinnamon donut so I guess it wasn't all badbut still thought it would have been better..I guess when you are the only place around to get donuts, people can't be picky..

I use to live in Marshall MI. Louie's bakery has the most wonderful baked goods, cookies, pies, donuts, breads. If anyone is ever in Marshall you really need to visit there. I lived in a far away town now, so whenever I'm in Marshall I will always make sure I make a trip to Louie's bakery.😊😊

Great tasting baked goods. The nut roll and peanut bars are amazing. Staff is friendly as well. I've never had a problem with any of them. I'd give them 5 stars if they didn't charge for using a card. They won't if the order is $20 or more. I understand being a small business, but I rarely carry cash and rarely spend $20. I'd be in more if it wasn't for the fee.

I have loved this bakery for a long time. The doughnuts are still good, but the people working there generally seem annoyed with customers. I took my father-in-law there for the first time today and as soon as we walked out, he asked if Louie's employees always seem so unpleasant. The answer lately has been, yes. I hate to say it, but I don't think I'll be going back. The doughnuts aren't worth the attitude.

I like the cinnamon rolls with frosting and crushed nuts. I buy the cream filled long johns for my coworkers. There is one thing that is lacking at Louies - I don't ever recall seeing a smiling face. Staff should smile while making eye contact and make their customers feel more welcome.
