Great food and atmosphere. My wife and I love eating here when we're in the area.
Seemed like a place that "locals" drink at.
Anyway, I popped in to get some ice for my wife to put on a head bruise. The bartender, Nancy, was very busy but super-nice and found a plastic ice bag and put some ice in it. Thanks! And now my wife has only a small egg on her head rather than an BIG egg. Lost Dog Pub saves the day!
The menu at this location has many more options than the Orleans location, and the specials are usually better here, but the dennis location is smaller, gets full faster, and more often than not, the service here isn't as good as Orleans. During the high season here, it seemed as though they prioritized groups of 6 and 8 over 2 and 4, putting them ahead of others on the wait list, and it seemed as though the locals (people who actually live here all year, not just 2 weeks a summer) weren't even a factor in who got seated. None the less, we keep coming back and the food is always excellent and the specials are great. Nothing on the menu is bad, and they are pretty great if you have celiac. Please try them, my wife and I go about once a week.
Great pub food and seafood. Everything is so fresh! Fun local place.
Awesome bar staff and great drinks! The fact that we got pizza at almost midnight on a Saturday was pretty cool too!
Service was friendly and professional. My chicken wings were delicious. We were on our way to a play after dinner, and the waitress made sure our meals arrived quickly and the bill settled fast so we wouldn't be late to the play. I have dined here many times, and every time the service and food are excellent!
Nice little pub. My husband and I were looking for a quick bite to eat on our bike ride to the Cape and this place was suggested by a local guy. Had the Captain's Club roll and my husband had a cheeseburger, both were good and came with ALOT of fries. Bartender was nice and quick, will def visit again if we are in the area!
Lost Dog has long been a go-to spot for me, my wife and family. Terrifically fresh seafood stands out on the varied menu. The dining room is fairly small but the friendly staff do a super job serving people and keeping things moving. Cozy bar area is a perfect spot to watch a game and snack on their hand-cut french fries, burgers, fresh East Dennis oysters and more, all while sipping a beautifully made cocktail or beer. (Actually, it may be in my best interest to keep Lost Dog Pub lost, so on second thought, please disregard everything I've just said.)
This is a popular local hangout. It's more or less a pub-type atmosphere. The selection is pretty decent, with mostly reasonable prices and typically good, attentive service.
Great atmosphere, great selection at the bar, fantastic staff, reasonable prices, and a regular sit down area for family
Decent pub food. Friendly service.
Lively pub atmosphere with full service kitchen and house pizza. Favorite spot for locals but tends to be the typical indigenous Cape Cod over 60 crowd mixed with pickup truck craftsman catching a beer and the scores on the way home. Restaurant area has a mixture of booths and tables and the menu is pub staples peppered with some surprisingly healthy dishes and salads. There's always a couple of specials to choose from. Waitresses are good and they use food runners to maximize throughput. Can get very busy during the summer and their not taking reservations can mean a wait but it's worth it.
Stopped in for a late lunch while in the area. My husband and I were seated right away, our server Amy was pleasant and attentive, and our food was delivered quicklydoggie dip sandwich and buffalo burger were fantastic! We would highly recommend!
