BUYER BEWARE!!!! We scheduled a burial at sea for a family member for a day in September 2017. Relatives flew in from out of state for this somber occasion. We paid the $250 deposit then when we showed up at the dock no boat no captain Mark. We waited for an hour then finally reached Mark. He said he forgot and his boat was on dry dock. He admitted to taking the reservation personally. It was an awful experience for those of us who were grieving and to top it off its now weeks later and no refund. You also cannot reach him because his mailbox is full.
UPDATE: This boat was deemed not seaworthy last fall and had been on dry dock since July 2017. Unclear why a responsible business owner would accept reservations and deposits knowing there was no boat available. Unfortunately we were not the only family who this happened to. See Yelp. So as you can see owner response below is completely untrue. It was far from a technical issue "that day". The boat was dry docked for over 2 months before we scheduled and he took our deposit.response / report this review -

We had a wonderful sail on a windy day Other cruises would not go out on such a windy day, but Catboat Rides handled it perfectly.
