I had a good experience shopping at Lord &Taylor. My favorite store!!!
I also had an excellent sales associate in
the holiday dept. I believe it was the.9th Floor. Her first name is Emily and her associate #315778. Very knowledgeable and intelligent. Also very pleasant.

Nice Christmas presentation in the store. And great prices. Everything was 30% off only three weeks before Christmas!
Very helpful staff, not pushy but attentive.
Good location, too, on 5th Avenue.

Liked this place much better than some other department stores. It is spacious, has a decent range and is pretty empty. The Christmas windows were impressive too.

Gotta change my review Tried to shop here on three different occasions for a belt.. I found the matching color but not the right size After several months, they didn't get new sizes! Going to Macy's?

I work here and though my position is a bit too physical for my health reasons, I love this store. I've mad e numerous friends since I started working here. The merchandise is of good quality and there's always a sale. We strive to deliver exceptional customer service.

Well kept, there's no way you walk into this store and leave without finding what you needed. Staff are extremely helpful and willing to resolve any problems you might be having with a purchase! And lets not forget they have the best sales.

Iconic store with a greatselecton of petite fashions. The store was well laid out, dressing rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I found many beautiful items on sale

I had two interactions with customer service for my first and ONLY order, and I was incredibly frustrated with both. Primarily, my experience with my incorrect order was clearly the worse of the two. The customer service rep accidentally slipped that it was documented I was substituted an item for the original item I ordered, which is now out of stock. She later denied this, but it was clear it was not an "accident'. The only two options I was provided was mail the item back for a refund, at my own inconvenience, or received a 15% discount. Neither of this were at all satisfactory, when it is clear I was substituted an item without any effort to contact me inquiring my preferences. I was also told that my return would be convenient and able to use USPS at my home, but the return label I was provided clearly states I must drop it off at a Fed Ex location. I extremely dissatisfied with the service provided at ordering and receipt, and do not plan on ever shopping Lord and Taylor again. I am happy to share this experience with friends and family, and anyone who will read this blurb. This is not what I expected from a high end retailer. I've wasted over an hour of my time with this transaction and still gained no satisfaction. Very disappointing. I would have done better on Amazon.

Returned a couple coats I purchased online, some of the staff in the coat section were extremely rude and unorganized. After waiting in line they were not able to return the coats for some reason so they sent me to the service desk on the 7th floor I believe where I had to wait again in a second line. Luckily the service there was much more pleasant.

Amazing dress selection! Skip the crush of the crowds and shop like a civilized human being. It is the only Manhattan department store I will enter.

If your looking good for something extra special to wear to an event Lord and Taylor's is certainly the place to go shopping. Also, it's highly unlikely that someone else will show up to the event with the same dress. They have a beautiful selection of shoes and boots.

For quality, selection and range of product, this is my favorite bricks and mortar apparel store. It met the need when hunting for a prom dress with my nice; when looking for business professional with a bit of flair, and when shopping for pajama wear fit for cold nights in front of the fireplace. Plus - maybe because of online competition - I've never had to wait for a dressing room or in an overly long check out line. It's nice to still see how something looks before buying -
