I have stopped in here for donuts many different times over the past few years, and they always seem to have the freshest, softest donuts that taste like they just came out of the oven a few minutes prior to my arrival.
The ingredients they use are some of the best tasting I have had anywhere. The prices are normal for donuts. There is usually a long line of people as this place stays very busy and is well known to the locals in the area.
Even with the constant line of customers the staff seems to always be pleasant and helpful. If you have not tried their donuts I highly recommend that you do.response / report this review -

Unlike wacky coastline donut shops that peddle in bacon wrapped madness and 400 different donuts with eclectic names, longs serves up the standards. And does them damn well. Cash only; don't get caught lookin a fool. Get there early and get whatever is left!

Whenever I am near the Indianapolis motor speedway I always stop by Long's for some donuts and ice cold chocolate milk! It's become a family tradition! I love the maple long johns and the blueberry cake doughnuts! They even had a caramel spiced apple sauce doughnut the last time I was there. It was amazing!

I always have a wonderful experience here! The donuts are always fresh and the staff is always friendly and fast I don't know what the one review was talking about she saw gnats?? I've been going here for almost 10 years and I've never seen any bugs

this place is the best bakery i have ever been to in my entire life! i always make sure to stop by here when i come to Indianapolis. sometimes the lines can be pretty long, but once you get a few donuts from this place you will understand why. it is worth the wait! so good!

HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG WITH LONGS? THESE DOUGHNUTS ARE AMAZING! EVERYTHING THEY MAKE IS WONDERFUL! THE WORKERS ARE NICE. I'VE BEEN GOING THERE ALL MY LIFE!

The donuts here are fantastic. There is not much parking and they only take cash But we love the variety and the donuts so we always go back for more.

The absolute best bakery in Indianapolis and the surrounding area. This is the ONLY bakery we bring in to work when someone incurs a donut violation. Get there early (before 630am) or else you will have a bit of a wait. And remember to bring CASH!

This place does really great business and have been around for a long. I didn't like the fact that it is so cramped for the business it gets and the hours that they are open. Plus the CASH ONLY is a downfall if you are from out of town, I had to go across the street to the gas station ATM and the fact that there is no parking available for all of its many customers is not a plus either. I had to park in the alley behind the establishment. If you are not willing to wait in line for 10 to 15mins then call ahead. Despite that the donuts are good. It will be awhile before I come back but I am coming back. Just bring cash and call ahead!

I've live down the street from Longs all my life and they will always be the best. Not out south but west. They should be on TV like the rest of the best places.

Best donuts EVER. So good. Plus They were well priced. The women behind the counter were very prompt and nice, also. They got people in and out, yet managed to still be courteous. Will be back!

These donuts will stalk your thoughts once you start thinking about them Apple-cinnamon fried, yeast, custard filled, jelly filled, yummy!! Cash only and expect a short wait, day or night. Staff attends to customers orders quickly so it never takes to long. Worth the wait!

An iconic donut shop in Indy. There are some here and there within Marion county and outside the county but Long's is the top. The Cinnamon and Apple "Frys" are the best. I also enjoy the danishes and the "Mary Ann"

Always will be the best bakery FOREVER!!! I grew up with this bakery. And it is worth every penny I put into. People should know that this is old school, so all the haters don't come here! The donuts,cookies, and pies are the best, the neighborhood is not going to harm the business ( all of those know that Long's is respected in the neighborhood), and who cares that they accept Cash Only. That's how it should be! That's old school for you! So anyone who says that this neighborhood bakery isn't for them, then go back to your original fake bakery and leave the legend ALONE!!! #LONG'S FOREVER!!! It's an Indy original!!!

Horribly rude employees. Donuts are nothing special. Sketchy neighborhood. No idea why this place is supposed to be epic. It's definitely not. Won't be back.
