The fish dip appetizer was delicious and the fish and chips were delicious as well. Well made and season. The portions were large enough that most of us didn't finish our entrees.
Absolutely rude staff working here! Stop thru today and the blonde skinny waitress took my money but didn't give me my change. The girl working behind the bar came over to collect money from me and I told her that I had already paid. Very rudely she mouth off to me " she's not going to walk off with your money" and I replied "you are being a bit extreme" so when the other girl came back I told her what her partner had done and mid-sentence she shut the window in my face and I beat my horn at her so I could finish saying what I was saying. At this point I was pissed off so I cancelled my order and got my money back. We go at least twice a week and I will never patronize this restaurant again. The assistant manager was Unapologetic and you could tell he really could care less that I was treated this way
Beer was cold. Hot dog was just ok. Place was jamming on a beautiful November evening. Excellent service!
I love this place. The food is so fresh and good. The people who work there are always friendly. It's just a feel good place
I always get the Johnny O. And I I am always satisfied with the taste and the quantity. They're always professional and pleasant at the window. So for the drive thru quality A+. I do have a tip; call and place your order ahead of time. That's better than waiting until you get to the window because they make everything fresh. But, it's definitely worth the wait though.
Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Fun beach atmosphere too. Has tv's viewable from all seating with water sports and sporting on.
It's good, but not the best Long Doggers location. It suffers from a less-than-beautiful location, though they do their best to make it more attractive. Food was as expected for Long Doggers (good!) and service was excellent.
Great local restaurant. We always take out of town guests here when they visit to give them a taste of the local cuisine
Cool outside setup. I don't think they clean their fryers very often. Everytime I eat here, their fries are always too crispy/fried.
The menu changes! The clam chowder was watery the last time we went (End of May), it was still tasty, but not as good as it used to be and I couldn't find anything else that sounded good. We had a party of 6 people, the service was good. Bill was just over $100 with 3 appetizers, 4 meals and 2 soups and drinks, so the prices are comparable. We've been going for well over a year and we've seen 3 menu changes. I do recommend the place as the atmosphere is great when sitting outside. The inside is to dark for our taste.
I'm saving 5* for my absolutely favorite places. Long Dogger's is up there and deserves 4.5* but I wasn't able to give that. It's very crowded at times but that's because the food is great at reasonable prices. I didn't give it 5* because the servers, although very friendly, patient and trying to be helpful aren't always knowledgeable about nutrition facts on their menu. I needed a no sugar meal and ended up eating sugar in what was supposed to be vinegar, turned out to be balsamic vinegarette. I didn't realize it until it was ALL over my salad! Ugh! They've also done away with some of our favorite menu items like pan seared tuna.
Decent food with a wide variety. Inside is good for wheelchair access. Only downfall is a person in a power wheelchair cannot sit in the outside Patio area since all the tables are long benches.
