Studio One Shop (for Cancer items ). be VERY careful of the sales persons "sweet & fast talking " you into trying on items after cancer surgery. Telling you this is what you need & your insurance will pay all. Get a book from Cancer Support groups, that shows you what the cost really is.Not the HIGH PRICE items @Studio One ( your paying for items & for the office interior & area location.) Medicare pays little to nothing as the sales person talks you into buying more than you need &what the Doctor states you should not wear.

What a screwed up bospiat. Been here since 720 took 2 hour for someone to come in than found out mom needed a blood transfusion I asked the nurse if they were going to call my Mom primary care physician and they said no I asked them why and the response was she's just going to have to do a follow-up that are blood pressure dropped I asked them what was causing that they said I would have to wait and follow up with her doctor then my mom asked for something to eat because she was so hungry they gave her two crackers then I asked to talk to somebody else called the security guard what kind of facility is this nurses are allowed to stand around and talk in the hallway when there's a hospital for sick people I wouldn't recommend bringing my dog to this place okay I asked if I could get board of directors number and their response was I don't know how to give that to you

My younger brother had the flu, and my mom took him there. Despite the fact that he had never left the country and he was exhibiting no unusual symptoms, they pressured my mom into getting him a spinal tap. A SPINAL TAP for the future. It gave him mind bending headaches for the week after. They are monsters. Go there if you want unnecessary procedures and a great headache.

Dr seagers or however you spell it he's a tall bald white male , he is a creepy doctor, he displayed pervertish/creep body language, He walks in the room on women without making sure they are covered first, he honestly gives the impression he's mentally unstable, he's such a creep. If you have him you have the right to refuse his treatment. And if your under 18 and are pregnant and all that you are allowed to be treated without parents consent, they like to lie about that, but tell them to call the person higher up than them and it will be all good.

Was a good hospital for a long time. What has happened guess I'll never know. Has turned into a patient mill. They rush people in and out all day. Hospitalist does everything wrong, don't think there's DR'S here anymore.

By far the worst medical center and medical care that we have ever experienced in our lives. I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years and my ex-husband is a surgeon. My father had bilateral pneumonia and was not given any respiratory care until I made the request myself. He also had known mucus plugs and almost died at the hospital. Of course, St. Joseph never performed a bronchoscopy to remove the mucus plugs (they can be deadly). The case manager allowed nursing home salesmen in his room to try to recruit him even when he was already approved for a rehabilitation center. The referral to the rehab center was only sent because I pushed for it. She thought that after 2 weeks in the hospital (after previously being completely independent), he only qualified for a nursing home. Pathetic. He was discharged early by his completely incompetent hospitalist and sent to a rehabilitation center with a blood clot and mucus plugs. Terrible, terrible and now it looks like he might be ventilator-dependent thanks to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana.

I have never experienced such an unprofessional, incompetent group of doctors and nurses. My story is a loooong one and I do not have room to type it all here but please trust me when I say, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on this facility. Especially if you have stage 4 cancer. I have never experienced people in my life that do not care about the well being of their patients. It really is heartbreaking and they should be ashamed of themselves. I hope that nobody else has to experience what my father and entire family had to experience with this ridiculous hospital and these ridiculous doctors especially Dr. Hudak, Dr. Chestnut, and Dr. Greene. Constant disregard, never returning phone calls, down right negligence, pawning my dad off on other doctors. The list goes on and on. Just writing this review, I can't help but worry about the lives that these people are entrusted with. If I am being honest, I feel like this negligence stems from ageism and the fact that my father is on Medicare. I never really believed that that should matter to a medical facility but I believe it now!

You know if you're Emergency Room staff wasn't just standing around joking around and carrying on conversions about their lives.maybe just maybe they would be able to get things done and patients taken care of! They're getting just as bad as Memorial.Smh what a shame! Oh and let's not talk about the rude attitudes and what not!

Everyone there is so nice and I didn't have to wait long to get a room compared to memorial which for an emergency they'd have you wait hours. Everything was done quickly and I liked how quick they were able to treat me.

The way I was spoken to by a staff nurse was beyond rude. Being told that I should have medicated her before arriving and that good parents know this.My child had displayed unnerving signs of meningitis abruptly. I made the decision to take her to the hospital. Instead of medicating and waiting. The slender blonde with pixie hair cut belittled me in front of my child and my child become so upset she begged me to leave. The nurse did not inform me of my child's current temp or her pulse reading- we were sent to the waiting area. I have NEVER EVER incountered a nurse with such lack of professionalism and zero compassion for such a situation. Thankfully my child is okay. I hope that the emergency department really looks into who they hire. This nurse was and is one of the worst employees I have encountered.

If you get admitted into the hospital, the nurses, doctors, technicians and staff are great. This one star rating is for the Emergency Department. Specifically the intake, the wait, and the waiting room. This rating is given after several visits here in the last few months. If I didn't have a senior parent who likes this hospital, I would never come here. Tonight was so awful, it warranted comment. They have the worst ER intake staff and waiting room ever. The first representation of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center is a bunch of slovenly, unkempt, unhygienic, employees in the reception area. One intake guy could not keep his hands out of his greasy hair, or his eyes off of his cell phone. When I went to ask him an important question, he slurped saliva (or whatever) between his teeth several times and said "Uhhhhh I don't know " then dismissed me by returning his eyes to his oh so important text. The other employee, a woman in blue scrubs, basically sat around and watched a stream of people walk in, with no greeting, no information about the wait, or what would happen. She avoided all eye contact directed her way. She just sat there gnawing on her fingers and nails. GROSS! I later found out she is a triage nurse. DOUBLE GROSS. I did not see her clean her hands before taking vitals. Yuck! She is the sloppiest, most unprofessional appearing nurse I have ever seen in my life; and she had the personality of a rock. The waiting room is full. Full of people who smell like smoke, infection, and bodily fluids. I know they can't help it, these people are really, really sick. There is no type of barrier to keep sicker people from those who are not ill with the flu etc. I don't understand why the front area is so understaffed on such a busy night. They have the TVs blaring on different channels. The noise is too much for a room full of sick people. I do not recommend this ER unless you arrive here by ambulance. This waiting room is the pits!

My daughter with Cerebral Palsy has been receiving therapy through outpatient pediatric for almost 4 years. These therapist are the most kind, attentive, loving people i could ever imagine. If i could give more than 5 stars i would. They are the reason my daughter has passed what we thought possible. And even the people who are not her therapist, still greet her when she comes and always make her welcome. This is the best team i could have ever asked for. I suggest to anyone that has a child with special needs, to go through St.Joesph pediatric therapy. Kristine, Noe, Kristen, Jenny, Miriam, Katie, Denise, the list of therapist goea on and on. All equally wonderful. My daughter would not be where she is if it weren't for them.

Wonderful facility. Helpful nurses. No doctor in charge and you wait forever to see one. One "hospitalist" told me to take my dad home, call in hospice and that he would never get out of the bed again. The doctor on the next shift told us to go on with life, just be careful and do nothing without assistance.
Glad my dad didn't listen to the first doctor. He is tough, but I don't respect the hospital for all of the conflicting reports from different doctors.response / report this review -

Very good service. I have had both my baby girl and boy delivered at this hospital. The entire staff from the reception, labor and delivery room, recovery room, house keeping, catering, even the records staff were all amazing, very friendly and caring. Keep it up St Joe.
