My family loves visiting here. It is one of the best maintained and family friendly places we have visited. My children ask to go here every year. Last time we were here we all got to witness one of the goats giving birth to twins. We still talk abt it to this day.

Just a beautiful zoo, more than just a zoo actually! If you want to really learn about animals for you and your family, this is the place to visit. Its in the process of updating all the enclosures for animal comfort and our viewing pleasure which I applaud the owners! Its just a wonderful venue that I personally love to visit during all seasons of the year. Every time we go, we come back with a new memory which has touched our heart.

A great zoo for little ones who actually get to interact with the animals. It's also great for grandparents as there are lots of shady places to sit while keeping a good watch over their grandchildren. It took about 2-3 hours to tour the zoo, including a ride on a camel and a photo op with a baby kangaroo.
Be sure to bring tailgate snacks and drinks for after your tour because there's no food court type places within the zoo itself.response / report this review -

A great little park. It was the perfect size for my two year old. He was able to feed many of the animals. They have a great variety of animals, including lions, tigers, and giraffes. A great educational experience.

Great zoo with a lot of different animals! The staff is friendly and informative. There were lots of baby animals to see and all of the animals are very interactive. Unfortunately, the new baby giraffe wasn’t out when we went through. The sign said he comes out at 11:00, 13:00, & 15:00, weather permitting. Overall, it was an affordable and fun day trip. Be sure to read the signs outside of each exhibit to know what treats each animal is allowed to have.

Great place, but some of the young staff need to be reminded that they are not doing us any favors. Perhaps they could benefit from customer service & special needs staff training. We happily pay a decent amount of money to feed your beautiful animals we also pay to see. A little more patience and simple kindness would have made a great day perfect

Great family location. Have been there 3 times and will definitely go again! Up-close encounters with animals. You can purchase food and carrots there. Diverse animals. A petting zoo. And you can even take pictures with a snake or kangaroo. A must see location!

I love LT!!! Been visiting for years and have season passes which save us money, not only for entry but for discounts on food and merchandise. It's great to see and often feed and touch many of the animals, and my favorites are the giraffes. The petting zoo area often has young animals that are just great. I love to learn about all of the different species they have. They also do an evening event in October so we get to of the nocturnal animals be more active. That's always fun! It's a neat place for all ages.

I love it. Very clean. You can see every animal and learn about them. The only thing I think is bad is the price. I think it should go down

We buy season passes every year! My daughter prefers this place over the pittsburgh zoo. You get to be more hands on with animals and can see them up close. Her favorites are feeding the deer and the giraffes. The staff is always super friendly! And they have a cute gift shop with some unique items.

Living treasures near New Castle is fantastic. It's extremely clean and as we was in the park I noticed many employees cleaning the park. I enjoyed watching the young children holding the new babies. I really enjoyed the Giraffe area, I could stay there all day. The park is a great afternoon get away, to go forva stroll and see well taken animals. I plan to get a season pass, I'll be having a total knee replacement. I think it will be a great way for me to get out and get my walking in. I would love to work there.

Living treasures new castle is the BEST hidden gem! I will never ever step foot in a zoo again! Last year my family purchased season passes and we definitely have gotten our use and then some out of them! It has definitely become one of our favorite places to visit! VERY reasonably priced and we love the interaction with the animals! All the animals are very well taken care of and the park is super clean! I am happy to support such a great animal park that's so close to home! I highly recommend visiting!!!

It's so much nicer than it was a few years ago. My kids loved just as much then as they do now. Being able to pet and feed some of the animals was exciting. The colorful birds area was my favorite experience. The birds land on your hands while you feed them! Kids had a blast and the price is really good.
