Beautiful. Very relaxing. A place to get away from every day stress and just enjoy the falls and being totally natural.
We had a wonderful weekend here and we’ll definitely be back soon! Best perk there’s no checkout time! 👍🏼
Best camp ground anywhere around within 100 miles very nice owners love staying there Everytime
The people working here are so hospitable! Since we had to drive up here late into the night to seek shelter from hurricane Irma, they still allowed us to stay even though it was past check in time.
Stayed 3 nights and 4 days and enjoyed every minute of it. Very well thought out camping spots. We had plenty of room for the camper and all our stuff. I will definitely be back this year. The owners were every nice and helpful, the restrooms and showers were clean and the place was very quiet.
The first night was great, we got to listen to the frogs by the pond and the ducks splashing around. The second night, well we ended up packing up our belongings and leaving after midnight. Campground rules are easy to follow, quiet time, according to their rules, was suppose to be 10pm. The quiet time curfew comes and goes as the neighboring tent is blasting their music and sharing explicit sex stories. Neither of which I would normally have a problem with but when it's past the designated quiet time and you're lying in tent beside your daughter listening to reggae music and load moaning, it becomes uncomfortable. We did as we were instructed to do by campground management, we contacted their office. We were assured everything would be taken care of. Campground "security" drove through in a diesel truck to assess any noise disturbances. After another 20 minutes of the bs we contacted the campground manager again, at this time we were told that they drove through and didn't hear anything and they went out on their porch and didn't hear anything. So I, as politely as I could, being heated by both the drunks in the neighboring tent and lack of management and security at the campground, told them to turn their music down and stop with all the noise. After that, we decided it was best to pack our things and leave. I would not recommend this campground to anyone looking for a nice family oriented campground.
Great campsite. The owners are super friendly! We were able to camp between two little running streams which made our stay so peaceful. They have a great little stocked pond to fish from We caught 7 fish one morning! It was our first time visiting the area and we were minutes away from little river canyon Couldn't have asked for a better stay :)
Great value campsite with easy access to Little River Canyon area. RV, tent sites with power, and tent sites without power are all available at reasonable prices. Shower/bathroom facilities are clean, and "the woodshed" firewood vending was a nice touch. No local convenience retail available, but Fort Payne is a short drive for forgotten necessities.
Nice campsites with clean facilities. Very close to great trails for hiking and swimming.
Stayed 5 days and 4 nights and can't wait to go back. Reasonably priced campsites, firewood and bagged ice. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry area. The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met.
Nice, clean and quiet. We really enjoyed this place. We reserved here after we could not get a site at the local state park. We ended up staying an extra night. We are always skeptical about small campgrounds because sometimes they end up being just trailer parks with old Rvs packed in like sardines and not very clean. This place was the opposite and we were so pleased. We also liked that while there were some kids happily playing, it was not a crazy disneyland like some campgrounds can be. We just emptied the nest so we like quiet.
What a great place! The folks that own this campground are so friendly and helpful! The campground has plenty of shade and a beautiful spring fed pond. The prices are more than reasonable and they even let us borrow the campsite vehicle to drive down to the canyon which is only just down the road. This is a beautiful area and makes for happy campers!
