Fine selection of Belgian pours and a cozy, unpretentious ambiance. A beer tour of DTLA cannot be complete without a stopping here. Cheers!
My girlfriend is Belgian so I know first place if this authentic or not. Here it is, take for a nice pub, not for a restaurant, and that's also good honestly. They have a great range of beers, and very good cocktails. The appetizers to order with are very good, their French fries, aioli sauce, roasted Brussels sprouts and wings. But don't hope much with the waffle.
Worth it:
A) If you like more choice of beer than many places in LA (authentic Belgium beers)
B) For the fries in general, they are very good
C) if you want to go to a good pub
Great service, beautiful. Fun loving staff. killer drinks and delicious food.
Try the truffle fries! The crunchiest, most delicious find in LA - a city with many, many great options for truffle fries.
Oh yeah - it's a great bar too. Good cocktails, nice wine and long beer list. Very friendly staff and plenty of seating so you don't feel that you're all crammed in too tightly. Definitely worth heading to Little Bear :)
This is one of our favorite places to go for lunch. It's casual, you can usually find parking, the staff is great and the Little Bear burger is sooo tasty. I get it with the salad, my husband orders with fries. It comes perfectly cooked, truffles and allyummy, and with my Moscow Mule, I'm happy! Always good.
Delicious food, friendly staff and a great beer and whiskey selection. I came here on a Thursday night and it was very calm and the perfect atmosphere to unwind. I ordered one of thier different grill cheese sandwiches that have a twist, and it was amazing!! Also, the music playing was awesome. The playlist went from Pink Floyd, to Queen, to David Bowie. This place is worth a try.
Friendly service and cozy atmosphere but it was a hot day and the AC was weak. Also avoid the poached eggs, ours were woefully undercooked. Beers and cocktails were great, though.
Great food at affordable prices! Comfort food feelings with a creative flair. Obsessed with the salmon risotto. If you're looking for a classic, try the Reuben !
Their menu is full of delicious food. From the burgers to the wings. There wasn't much of a wait to get a table for a group on a Thursday night but I can see this place getting packed on weekends. They have a parking lot but it's usually full. There is plenty of parking down the street if you're willing to walk a block. I love their drink menu and the usually friendly service.
I enjoyed the grilled cheese short rib sandwich and the Truffle fries were great the short ribs could have used a little bit of seasoning. But the buffalo cauliflower I didn't really care for and I thought it had something in it like cheese or something but it was the batter that wasn't quite done on the piece I had. I also have the drink called the Big T but it was rather boring and a little drab there was nothing exciting about this drink to make me order another. I also tried a bite of my friend's little bear burger and it was good except I could use a little seasoning as well it doesn't seem that they season anything!
Went for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday. Wasn't too crowded, which was nice. Service was slow, but food was okay. Drink selection is nice. Paid parking options get more expensive after 5pm or 6pm. Overall, a nice casual option for a weekend meal or drinks with friends.
I loved it. We got the roasted brussel sprouts to start and they were crunchy and delicious. I got the herb chicken. It was juicy and tender. The boy got the pastrami burger and was amazed. Awesome cocktail and beer list as well.
