Fun for the family. We had a lot of people so we had to take two cars. It was SO hot that all of the Lions were lounging in the shade, but we saw lots of animals out and about. Thankfully we had a strong air conditioner in our car. The giraffes come right up to your car. I think you can pet them if you want to get out and do that, but we didn't. We were quite happy having seen all the animals with my two year old niece. 😊

I am so glad I decided to take my family here!! My girls (four and two years old) LOVED it! My husband and I did as well! There were tons of animals that came right up to our car, cute little nature trails, rides and an adorable splash pad. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely visit again as it was one of the highlights of our week in Florida.

We had a blast!!! The kids and us highly enjoyed ourselves. You get the best of both worlds, education and fun! It was nice to learn about all the animals, watching them walk freely and come in close proximity of your vehicle. The kids enjoyed the slides and balloon throw. We're looking forward to our next trip! Totally memorable!!!!

I remember going to Lion Country Safari when I was just a kid, so it was with considerable excitement that I took my own children to it. It did not disappoint. The animals were amazing, and seeing them up close was very different than seeing them in a zoo. The other exhibits, such as the water slide, Mini golf course, etc, were all very fun. The kids loved the experience here and are excited to go back. I would highly recommend this place.!

Hear the lions roaring throughout the day and night!!!! Fantastic staff. Great neighbors. The whole atmosphere is perfect for your getaway. Very quiet except for the lions. Which makes it PERFECT! You won't regret staying here.

I took family got there late afternoon so we got a discount saved over 50 dollars, I love that you can drive a watch the animals in your own vehicle at your own pace. So that means we were able to take wonderful close up pictures of the animals that you couldn't do at a zoo. We didn't get to check out the entire place do to that we got there so late.but we were able to see pretty much all the animals and get out and walk around trust we are planning on coming back next week, and be much earlier this time lol

Lion Country Safari is a drive-through safari park where we can drive our cars and see the animals and birds from a close proximity it is a great place to visit in Florida and it offers a great safari experience. Staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. You can enjoy this experience as a less expensive one, if you have a Go Miami Card.

We had a great time at Lion Country Safari. Located very conveniently close to the Space, Treasure, or Palm coasts. Upon arrival we found the ticketing process very efficient and helpful. The drive through the animal park was well designed and choreographed using a (provided) CD and map. The diversity of animal species surprised us and being that up-close to some of the world's largest animals was quite an experience. The walk-through park was full of very nicely done exhibits and extras like boat and train rides and a small water (shower) park at no extra charge (unlike nearly every other park that provide these types of extras at a huge extra charge). The staff was all very friendly and food and drinks were reasonably priced. Very nice experience.

Great value for the whole family. Best for kids 3 and up. Bring bathing suits, sunblock and towels (or wear them) for the excellent splash pad area and water slide. There are changing rooms. Food is cafeteria style, nothing fancy, hit the spot and plenty of kid friendly options. Feeding the giraffes was especially great.

My family came here for the first time back in November and now it's turned into a tradition to come each year. It is great for kids. You can hear the lions from your camp ground. They keep safety as a priority. My hope is that the animals are treated greatly always. It's located in a good location not far from restaurants, shopping, and general exploring. The cabins are super small and they don't have bathrooms which is a real bummer. But I guess that's what camping is all about. Great scenery and a trip to remember. If you're into photography; this is a great place to come to.

Nice place to bring your kids. Moderately expensive. You can find coupons for money off admission online on their website. You can bring your own drinks and food. Does have their own eatery. Swimming area and rides for the kids. (If there is chance of rain with possible thunder and lighting. The will shut down the swimming area and rides. Beware! It states they have 900 animals at their facility. Note that does not mean 900 different breeds of animals. Over all my son had a good time. Unsure if I would go back or not.

Went here for the first time about two weeks ago, enjoyed it a great deal, I wish the weather had been better for exploring the zoo, had to settle for during through twice, it was amazing, the first time we saw the animals they were lively, and very active, we even saw feeding time. The second drive through, the animals were all feed and less lively, they were mostly sleeping. I Recommend going early in the morning, drive though, break for zoo exploration weather permitting of course, then drive through again. Admission is a bit pricey, but worth it as you get two parks in one.

Really great place to spend with the family. The safari was awesome and informative. They have a splash pad and water slides. Miniature golf and small rides for the kids. The food was good and price is reasonable. Can't wait to come back.

We didn't even bring the kids Or the grandchildren and STILL loved it! It was a great way to spend a few hours with the wildlife, without going to a bar or the beach. We went with friends who hadn't visited since the days when the lions were allowed to roam free, before the lawyers and insurance companies took over. It was great fun, a chance to get up close and personal with some beasts you would not otherwise encounter, even at the mall on Black Friday! Visit. It is worth every penny, particularly if you take the time to find the $8 off coupon.

My wife and i took our 9 month old here this weekend and had a blast. We took our time driving through the safari, getting a good view of all their animals and learning from the CD provided by the staff apon entry. After the drive through safari, there was a very nice park with lots to do for the family, including a petting zoo, mini water park, and a few kiddie rides. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and snacks were reasonably priced. Also, for $2 you can feed giraffes some lettuce, which is a must do, they are amazing up close. All in all we spent about 5 hours in the park and would come again.
