Generous pours, many burgers on the menu, great personality on staff.
Good burgers and a great hang out place to kick back and drink some brews
Great local DC pub with great happy hour prices and large "historic themed" burger menu.
Next time I am in DC I'll stop by again!
nice place to hava a drink. Food is also good.
Worst food experience during our 5 month tour of the states. The woman behind the bar is rude and doesn't listen. The only saving grace, barely, was the middle aged guy that served us. The chicken burger was dry and tasteless, and $5 for two measly portions of fries is stealing.
For a place with so many burgers on the menu, you'd think they could cook them
It's also worth noting that there were specials on board outside the building (they looked quite good, especially after the chaff we had), but nothing was mentioned when we were given menus.
If you go there, I hope it's by accident and hopefully you realise your mistake before ordering anything!
Tiny pub but it;s a great lunch stop if your in the GWU area.
feels like a dive bar. burgers could be a little cheaper to make it 5 stars
Very affordable old jaunt in the Foggy bottom neighborhood. You will get a reliably good meal each time, with a nice portion size. The place on most occasions is a little under occupied even on weekends but this is not by any fault of the restaurant as it is delicious and the service is great. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a burger and beer type of meal.
This is one of my favorite places in DC Total hole in the wall basic get'er done burger joint. Great beer, great service and great burgers served simply. I wish I thought if it first. Check it out next time you're in town.
I came here on a free burger offer from Scout Mob. It's a nice place. It reminds me of college. But I didn't really like college all that much. The burger really wasn't worth it. I think I could have made it myself. Honestly, I think that McDonald's has more substance. The fries were good, and the beer selection was average.
Would i go here again? If I passed by and I didn't have a car, then of course. But if i had to pay $4-5 for an average burger, then no.
