LAC is fantastic! I am biking across the country right now and got a flat on the Pumpkinvine trail. A kind fellow who works there saw me, stopped his ride and took me to the shop.This was early in the morning, hours before opening, but he made a phone call to the manager and allowed me to come in early and get a new tube and tire. Both were so kind for going out of their way to help me. I am so grateful and highly recommend Lincoln Avenue Cycling!

First time in a bike shop. Buying my 9 yo a used Trek bike. Guy I dealt with went above & beyond helping set it up & making sure it was sized right. Was super helpfull & acted as if he really cared-definitely unlike you would find at chain store! Shop owner noticed shifter cable seemed a bit tight & replaced it before we left. They even charged less than originally quoted! I own a high end auto repair shop and appreciate businesses who operate like we do! Great job Lincoln Ave. Cycling! You earned a new customer!

Very happy with my experiences at Lincoln Ave. I purchased my Mountain Bike from them last fall, they stand behind their product. Every time I go in I am greeted with a smile and a warm handshake from staff and they make time to help me with questions. They offer advice and help me make decisions about gear, training, and technique. They have a great staff that is willing to go the extra mile to make sure I am satisfied with my purchases. I have found that their prices are right on par with anywhere online that I've seen and they have some great clearance on clothing that I have been able to take advantage of.
I did have some work done on an old road bike that cost a little more than they originally predicted, but it was unavoidable. The bike is more than 30 years old and they were unable to save the original rear wheel, so they had to replace it. This bike had gone without maintenance for 20 years. Thanks for your help and thanks for being a great resource! I will continue to shop here.

1. Lincoln Avenue Cycling lied about when my bike would be done. I was told it would be a few days on the phone. The man I hired to drop my bike off at Lincoln Avenue Cycling was told they were weeks behind. After being told the first of the next week, then the end of that week, then the first of the next week, then the end of that next week, I finally got my bike back three weeks later.
2. The repairs Lincoln Avenue Cycling did went WAY above the estimate I was quoted. They never called me to make sure I wanted to spend that much money before doing the repairs.
3. I made a Better Business Bureau report about my bad experience with Lincoln Avenue Cycling , but they have not replied.
4. When my driver brought my bike back, it was making a clunking noise every time my pedals made a revolution. No one from there told me it was happening or let me know why it was happening. Adjusting my chain properly is one of the repairs Lincoln Avenue Cycling was supposed to do.
I've written to Lincoln Avenue Cycling on their web page and Facebook page to ask them why no one tested my bike before giving it back? I'm still waiting on an answer.
5. I'll NEVER EVER use Lincoln Avenue Cycling again!

Update: 4-26-2016 I received a call from shop owner willing to correct the any satisfaction we had. He was willing to pick up the bikes himself and give store credit. I'm not one who seeks discounts or things for free. Told him I appreciated the call, the offer and his willingness to make things right. Very professional. I will recommend this shop to others. Thanks Danny.
