As an outsider of the Liberty Ranch, during the last year I have had the privilege of really getting to know how the Ranch operates. I have nothing but respect for the staff and residents participating and giving their time to change not only their own lives, but the lives of others. As mentioned before, being around the Ranch for this period of time, I’ve come to notice just how successful the program truly is. The staff are willing to dedicate all of their time in order to see change in resident lives and help them achieve sobriety and goals they have in place. I would recommend this facility to anyone who truly is in need of help and wants help.

I came to the ranch in July of 2017, and have been a resident here for 6 months. I can say from the bottom of my heart that this place has saved my life. Once I saw the success of the graduates, I committed to graduate without hesitation. I have been to many residential treatment centers and this is the only one that has worked for me. It taught me how to work a program that's geared towards long term sobriety, how to be a hard working and responsible person, and to finally tackle problems that I would have never been able to face on my own. The fellowship, structure, and support of both staff and residents here is without parallel. Truly. I am proud to be a part of the miracle that this house demonstrates in people's life's. Hopefully I will be able to show my gratitude and loyalty to the program that saved my life for many years to come. If you want to learn how to live a sober, happy life, and are willing to do whatever it takes, then the ranch is the place for you.

As the mother of two daughters who graduated The Liberty Ranch, I will forever be grateful.
They helped my girls do something they couldn’t do alone.
They not only helped them get clean, they taught my girls how to respect others and themselves.
They now possess integrity and love.
The staff works long and late hours to help residents. They showed my daughters love and compassion.
The Liberty Ranch is family oriented. They welcome questions from parents/loved ones concerning things we don’t understand.
My daughters now hold down jobs, work hard and are highly respected by family, friends and members of the community.
I will forever sing the praises of The Liberty Ranch and it’s ability to show true love for others.

The Liberty Ranch saved my life when my family or I could not. For the past 20 years I was trying to get sober and was not successful until coming here. The staff never gave up on me and they truly care about the residents. I have learned through my 12 months here how to stay sober and live life on life's terms. I am so grateful the ranch taught me to have fun in sobriety. We go on group activities every Friday!! I never had friends until coming here and the Ranch taught me how to have a friend and to be a friend. Now I am working as the resident manager and get to pass on what was so freely given to me.

As a past employee, I had an experience where I believed there was a lot of deceit from the owner. The web site advertises a high success rate which was very misleading. Before deciding on this treatment center, check the true success rate. The owner and operator was verbally abusive to the staff, and some report of verbal abuse toward clients. Be

For the record,
I was the Clinical Program Director at the outpatient center, was terminated for conducting an informal investigation of the reported verbal abuse on staff, and refusing to commit insurance fraud by leveling clients at a higher level of care than appropriate. All were within the guidelines as a clinical director.

I attended the Liberty Ranch in 2012. I am currently an employee of the Ranch and have NOT been abused in any way ever. When I was a resident in the facility it was mandatory for them to point my bad behaviors out to me! Those behaviors played a huge role in my drinking and using lifestyle and when you get sober there is only one thing that has to change and that is EVERYTHING! It was painful to change. My life was a disaster when I arrived at the Liberty Ranch and I take pride today in helping other people achieve freedom from drugs, alcohol and the bondage of self. I would always say "I want help" but when it came to getting help I had to admit I didn't know what that help looked like and my family had to admit the same thing. I had to learn and practice blind faith and do what I was told. After all, my thinking and the way my family thought and behaved was the crux of the problem and it had to be changed. Because of acting our way into better thinking and having some blind faith Five years later I am still clean and sober. My family is whole again and I have a life beyond my wildest dreams. I am really confused about the previous post from Tony Roberts. He was not an employee of the Ranch but the Rehabilitation center. I am currently an employee at the Ranch and interact with the residents on a day to day basis. I received many complaints from the residents about the quality of treatment provided by Tony and from my understanding, the owner tried to work with him to improve the deficiencies. The graduate success rate was based on a study Tony was not a part of and the nature of it is clearly stated on the website. The Ranch is so much lower in cost then most treatment centers.

I went through the house and graduated. It has truly changed my life and has made a huge influence on my family as well. This sober living facility is not easy, but it works. The staff and the owner of the ranch put more effort into helping the residents than I have EVER seen. Sometimes it was hard to hear the truth about my behavior but it contunes to keep me sober and ended up saving my life.

My name is Diane Rafacz; Eric Rafacz is my son. I live with my elderly parents, and primarily take care of my severely diabetic Mom who has had wounds on her feet. I was at the Liberty Ranch in 2008, for 60 days. Larry has the right idea for recovery; unfortunately, I was at the mercy of Tanith West and Dian. They enforced ridiculous rules and punishments. We sometimes had to stay up all night, as they grilled and berated us, mercilessly. I prayed to God to get me out of there! They told me " my family didn't WANT me back!" After all these years, I'll never forget that cruel, untrue statement! Their means of punishment were endless essays, given with a deadline! If you stepped on a damn rug in the living room, you'd be assigned a 300- plus word essay!!! That did nothing for me. The meetings were beneficial, except for "GROUP" on Thursday nights! That was a nightmare, and it could last all night! Meetings and friendships, and outings were most beneficial for me! However, I thank the Lord that I'll never be in Casey County, or The Liberty Ranch again! I'm a clean, trusted member of the household again; I wouldn't dream of touching my parent's money or checkbook again. My health has declined in these 7 years, but I'm forever grateful to God, and my loving parents and family! Diane Rafacz

The Liberty Ranch and the L&B Recovery staff helped me get my life back on track for which I will be forever grateful. They handed me the tools needed to stay sober for the long haul and taught me to live life on life's terms. I entered this program an addict, ashamed of what I had become and the havoc my disease cost me and my loved ones. I'm so grateful today to have what I do in sobriety. Waking up excited for the day ahead of me, working a great job to support myself, friends I wouldn't change for the world and a great relationship with my family are just the beginnings of my new life. I cannot stress enough how lucky I am to have found the Liberty Ranch and again thank the program from the bottom of my heart for the future it has given me.
