Liberty Park is a beautiful park! There are lots of trees and large areas of green grass to play! There is large cement running/biking/rollerblading path! A softer path with pieces of bark. And a large playground for the kids

This park has it all. It is a great place to go walking or running, and it has fun play areas for the kids. During the summer, there is an area that has water running through it in addition to the splash pad at the main playground. You can rent a boat to paddle around a pond that is home to several geese and ducks. Other amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court (usually only for club members), a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a place to play Horse Shoes (if you bring your own horse shoes), a mini Carnival area with a few rides (currently under construction), a picnic area where you can cook food in their stone barbecue chimneys, and the Tracy Aviary. There is tons of parking. One thing to note is that the restrooms are usually closed from about September through May.

We love this park. I've been taking my kids for over 5 years. Sometimes the ponds are shut down and sometimes there are questionable people but we have never felt unsafe and it's a great way to get the wiggles out. We don't swim here often (my kids are mostly toddlers and it's not the friendliest baby pool) but we do play on the playground and go to the splash pad. We also like the aviary just taking a stroll.

This is one of the best parks in the city. Beautiful grounds with a lot of history. There is a walking/running trail that goes around the park's perimeter. A great place to take the dogs for a good walk, take the kids to play, or a great backdrop for photos. There's more in this park than I can describe in a brief review. Go and explore!

Huge park great for walking dogs or feeding ducks. There is a big hill in the middle you can use for sledding or picnics. Paved trail all around the outside great for running, biking, rollerblading, walking or just to get around. The park is right by some great places to eat for breakfast and the Tracy aviary is on one side. You can see some of the birds as you walk and that's fun too.

The Aviary is amazing and deserves a 5 star review. The actual park was fairly mediocre. The seven canyons fountain was shut down at our visit, the bathrooms were extremely dirty, and there were many homeless people in the park and tents everywhere. The equipment was fun and in decent condition, minus the musical features which were all missing their mallets. The green areas and flower arrangements were all well maintained.

Aviary is a must see. Learning about nature and growing up around this park is a historic and beautiful thing for me. I hope you can enjoy it as much as I do. Let's get the splash fountain working again. So every kid can grow up with the wonderful memories that I did.

We usually go to liberty park for the tennis center, which is very nice and has a bubble in the winter. The park is fabulous for exercise. It has great trails around the park. There is a swimming pool in the summer. Tracy Aviary is fun for kids, but does have a small entrance fee. There is also a ferris wheel and other small rides for young children. A pond with paddle boats are also available in good weather.

Nice during the day except when pan handlers come right up to your car. Couples, gay and straight, making out with children around them, mostly in near dusk hours. The tracy aviary is a great place to visit. The park is beautiful with lots of trees. Nice walkways for wheelchairs and people unstable on the grass.

Everything about our visit to the park was ideal. We brought food to picnic with. The table was clean, the playground was shady, and the play structures were fun for the kids. We then had a lovely walk around the aviary and enjoyed free entertainment from the folk life center. The duck food feed machines were a great way to encourage people to interact safely with the birds. There was plenty of room to play frisbee with the kids and the dog. There was room in the trash bins for our waste, and the bathrooms are clean. What an impressive park!

We visited the playground.
There is a nice water pad here and ample parking.
The swings are plentiful but in full sun. They are made of metal and burned my children.
The park is very spread out and it is hard to keep track of everyone.
I would not go here again and I would not recommend my friends play here in the summer.

Last time I was there this creepy guy harassed me while I was walking my dog. This was on a Sunday at 11 a.m. in broad daylight. I should've called the cops. Be warned that there are some sketchy people that go to this park. I love the park itself but i feel like there are some people that go there that you need to be wary of. It was a very scary experience for me last time I went. I also saw a sign that has a number to call to report crime at liberty park so be warned. I will go back but not by myself for awhile.

We like how big the park is and all the great events they hold here. We recently went to a food truck face off and had a great time trying all the foods for a good cause. It's very convenient to be near the aviary as well if you want to take your kids to do other things.

Great place to go in the early part of the day. Amazing park with aviary, pool, water play structures, splash pad, multiple playgrounds, beautiful trees, grass, a lake
Sometimes in the afternoon the kids and people there can be a little rough. Better to take young kids in the morning.

A lot of open space. Many trees with plenty of shaded areas. Several different Play Grounds for kids. A few Picnic areas with cover, barbecue grills, some have a volleyball court or sand court. Public Restrooms. A good amount of parking though it is almost always full. Boat pond. Wading ponds. Swimming pool. Open Basketball courts. Well kept and staffed Aviary. A few amusement rides for kids in summer. Tennis club. Biking and Running and Walking paths.
