What a HORRIBLE experience. We made an appointment several weeks ago for our motorhome to be worked on this week. After we made this appointment we found we could get into Camping World for repairs faster - but we decided to stay with Lewis RV since we had committed to the appointment and wanted to help a local smaller business. What a mistake. We tried to drop off our motorhome tonight and first were told they don't work on Diesels - (but we told them what unit we had when we booked the appointment - and we needed work on a slide out - NOT on the diesel engine). We explained that the service was on the slide out. We were again told they didn't have anyone to work on it. Apparently someone quit - and someone else was in the hospital - but it took pulling teeth to get that information because all they said was we don't have anyone who can do the work. Now they had our phone number when we made the appointment but do you think they decided to call us before we got all the way there with our motorhome. Nope! So they referred us to Dave Arbogast - who currently has a 6 week lead time for repairs. Do you think they might have called Dave Arbogast and asked if they could squeeze us in since THEY (Lewis RV) could not live up to their commitment to us? NOPE. We are going on a scheduled trip in 2 weeks and now we are scrambling to find someone to do the work Lewis RV committed to do.and we lost the 2 weeks since we made the appointment with them. VERY disappointed and this is the worst example of customer service. Their attitude was basically "sorry about your luck".. We were very hopeful this would turn out to be a good place to get work done that was smaller and would offer more customer focused service. Not the case.

Excellent sales experience with very low no haggle price. Also no excessive add on fees. Connie was very good to deal with. Cannot comment on the service department as we have not required service yet.

Lewis RV is a hidden jewel in the RV business. I own an RV rental company, and I am constantly needing parts, repairs, or advice on how to keep my vehicles on the road and earning revenue. Ray Lewis Jr and the folks in the service and repair are unqualified experts in their field.

Lewis RV has never let me down, and goes out of its way to make it happen, no matter what I need. I have also purchased a motor home from them, and Connie on the sales staff is as excellent as the parts and service departments. They even send potential renters my way when they get a call from someone looking to rent an RV! I hope to maintain this business relationship for many years!

We recently purchased our first RV ever from Lewis RV. We did a lot of research and were impressed by the pricing and the selection of Class "C" motor homes available there. Our salesperson, Connie, was very knowledgeable about the product on the lot AND was very patient working with us as first time RV buyers. When it became obvious that she did not have the exact unit on hand that would best suit our needs, she was more than willing to order that unit. We liked working with a smaller dealership. We truly felt that our patronage was appreciated, and we were more than another number on some salesman's monthly chart. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lewis RV to family and friends who are in the market, and would return to Lewis RV ourselves if the need ever arose for another RV purchase.
