Awesome campground on a beautiful lake with a great staff. Lots of permanent/ seasonal campers here.

We went there for our vacation. We had a great time. Next year we want to stay 2 weeks.

Spent $600 renting a beautiful site right on the lake. First 5 days we had really nice families around us. Saturday very rowdy and dangerous crowd moved in. There were loud parties with LOTS of alcohol and drugs. The security guard said he asked them a few times up until 1:30 am to disband the parties and then he just gave up and went home. The party escalated into full blown fighting and they bashed out a windshield of a car and raced around the campground drunk. I was terrified. Finally when the sun came up I ran for the bathrooms and called family for help getting out. Asked for a refund twice and my request was ignored. Later I heard from a local that this campground has a real reputation for raunchy crowds. Management should have handled this by calling local police for help. Miracle innocent families weren't hurt or worse.

This is primarily a seasonal site campground. Maybe 10 - 15 % of sites are for overnight or short term camping. Nice location on Lake Leelanau, but not much of a beach.

Great facility. Clean, well kept, friendly people. Our site was on the lake. Nice area for the kids to play.

I've gone camping here every summer for the last 16 years and I can say it is a great little campground for those who like a friendly family oriented environment on lakeleelanau in the pines. There is a playground for the kids and a small arcade room that it open till 8:00 there is also a hayride at 6:00 or 6:30 and the area os just the best place to be for a short summer vacation.

The owners were so kind and helpful. This is a place we will definitely be back to, the lake is so nice and what a beautiful area!
